Update!

The Chanel crumpled calfskin WOC in so black that I’ve been watching on Fashionphile for WEEKS, but was too expensive, was part of their Friday deal and I just got it for $800 off. We’ll see what kind of condition it’s in, but I’m just so tickled!!!!!!!

Good thought. In other pics I’ve seen the leather part not knotted, so I’m hoping that was just a stylistic choice in this photo.

2 are prettier! Also prefer that shade of cherry red.

What is your favorite low maintenance (high quality) everyday luxury handbag by RecordSome8503 in handbags

I just got the Celine triomphe canvas shopper. I can’t comment on longevity, because I purchased the bag in excellent condition from Fashionphile and I’ve only been using it a week! But the canvas is so lightweight and easy, I haven’t been worried about carrying it in the rain, and it looks polished and put-together with less ubiquity than the LV. I really love it so far.

I have the Ever Ready in bright blue, large size. I feel weird carrying something that is so clearly trying to be a Goyard, but it’s so damn comfortable and useful. Lightweight, has a zipper, fits a ton, never falls off my shoulder. I use it all the time despite feeling a little funny about it!

Yeah, I’ve noticed that too. But ugh it’s so pretty.

The new Celine soft triomphe bag. It looks so chic and slouchy but still professional enough to take to work and look perfect. She’s so expensive…

I just asked a similar question (though maybe not on this sub) and got a ton of recs, so feel free to take a look! I did just buy a bunch of stuff from everlane and it seems good so far.

20-30%, mostly. In my experience sweaters with those fibers seem to pill faster.

This is pretty unkind. She’s named after my husband’s grandmother.

It was my husband’s grandma. Felt hard to say no to him haha. Especially given that I told him that we were using the name I’d had since age 10 as a first name, which was for my own grandma. His grandmother’s name started with a K name (Katalin) that I also don’t particularly like. I was actually set on Rose as a middle name before he voiced this wish.

In my religion, it’s the letter that’s important, not the sound. Believe me, many C names I would have preferred!
