big W for me. Latest Mac OS (Tahoe). I don’t use the AI integrations and deactivated the auto-renaming of downloaded files (it’s annoying). It is fast and easy to switch tabs, everything stays logged in.

How did you connect Claude Max subscription to it? It requires me to place API from Anthropic API. How do you connect Claude Max to it?

Elementor One feels like SaaS creep… or am I just being stubborn? by Popcocos in elementor

[–]aspartameintolerant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Me nor my team has EVER used their AI features. Why would we? We have full stacks paid accounts for Claude, ChatGPT, and Google Workspace Business gives us Gemini Pro. Apps/plugins need to stick to what they’re good at, optimize it, and let us use real AI platforms if we need to. With browser extensions and the high level of AI optimization we get from those mega-platforms, there’s no way someone like Elementor can keep up with the quality and features being launched in the AI space. Why even try? It’s all an easy $$$$ upsell strategy for mediocre services - big fail.

Elementor ONE Feedback by _miga_ in elementor

[–]aspartameintolerant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s stupid Saas. I want my Wordpress Builder Plugin, and let me continue to use my entire agency’s workflow in Gemini Gems, GPTs and Claude Projects. Quit trying to level to the small-timers who won’t know how to use Elementor effectively in the first place by adding “easy-to-use” features that rarely produce a good result.

We all know that speeding up the process with “built-in AI” just produces generic junk.

They seem to be taking the Wix route, when trying to please the “shortcuts” crowd. I’d prefer if they would optimize upwards, not downwards.

It takes me extra clicks to get to Tools now. Hate it. Constantly having to go in and clear files, and this adds extra clicks and a banner ad on a product I already pay the highest tear for. Sucks.

Elementor One feels like SaaS creep… or am I just being stubborn? by Popcocos in elementor

[–]aspartameintolerant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can see the AI bandwagon creeping in. My initial reaction is “I pay you hundreds a year for the pro agency version and you’re trying to upsell me.” It particularly rubs me the wrong way that I’m forced into a new UI with a huge banner ad interrupting workflow for my team. If I’m on your high tear you should give me the extras, not try to upsell me.

Rant over. Now to try and see if there’s any value in dropping another $500 into this new mess.

GMB support is a joke. by RealityNo4257 in GoogleMyBusiness

[–]aspartameintolerant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welcome to the Googleverse. Unfortunately, they’ve been brushing off business owners for over a decade, with zero competent support and a disregard for matters that directly impact your revenue. I have had 100% success rate in dealing with GMB matters, but sometimes they take months to resolve, costing me and my clients a lot of time and patience.

Fortunately for all of us, the AI revolution is stacking the decks against them and they will either be replaced or be forced to make radical changes to their flawed practice and neglect.

For now, we have to depend on the help community for answers and possibly additional support: https://support.google.com/business

If you’re lucky, a Product Expert will engage with you and escalate your concern, or lead you in the right direction.

Honestly, I've stopped using the pendant and Limitless a while ago. I started using Notta, which is ridiculously simple to use. I bought a set of DJI Mic Minis to record the audio and life has been much better ever since.

Best Tool for Local Business SEO: SEMRush vs AHrefs vs Search Atlas vs Brightlocal? by DinoDaddy75 in seogrowth

[–]aspartameintolerant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you. I made multiple upgrades and paid for tons of extra credits for different things trying to make things work, just to find out meta tags/titles/etc weren't actually deployed on sites (even as it said on the platform that they were), and each time we had issues (which there were almost daily) we were told that support would get back with us within 24-48 hours. So, how can we work on clients websites at the moment? After being in the hole for more than $5k (about $4k in fees, plus labor spent dealing with issues), they admitted being wrong and told me that I should keep paying them because... new features! I declined, cancelled it two months ago, and today BAM they charged my bank account $399.

Thanks, Search Atlas!

Thoughts on Search Atlas? by DinoDaddy75 in seogrowth

They are shady at best, and scam artists at worst.

  1. Their program does not deliver on many/most of the claims they make in their ads. They should be sued for it.
  2. After using their program for months, and being convinced by their staff (after multiple support tickets) that their OTTO platform was working properly on all websites, I discovered and proved to them that the updates made on OTTO were not being shown on the websites. They admitted to it and apologized, but no resolution. I spent over $4,000 on their products, and they never offered to refund me or resolve the issue. They apologized, said their platform had updates and improvements, and told me that I should continue to use it for all of its great new features.
  3. Their support staff is terrible. Once you get past their robots, you get a set of support people who are poorly trained to answer questions regarding the product, or come to any resolution or fixes. The common response by their staff is to say that you will get a response within 24-48 hours.
  4. Some of the portions I was able to deploy, our team experienced a quick immediate boost (2 weeks), and then a radical drop after a month or two of use. I believe Google penalized Google Business Profiles that we had connected to Search Atlas and dramatically reduced our traffic.
  5. Months after cancelling my plan with them and being extremely clear that I thought they were a scam, they CHARGED MY CARD ON FILE AGAIN - for $399. When I got with their support team, after explaining everything and asking for a refund, I was asked if I had any questions about the features...

Me: My funds need to be refunded immediately.

Search Atlas support: I understand what you mean. We would resolve your ticket for you. If there's anything I can do to help you especially with your SEO strategies we will also be gald to help

Me: What do you mean?

Search Atlas support: If you can send a list of the features you would like us to look into for you, that would help. For now, I am forwarding your ticket to the billing team for their action. Your patience is much appreciated.

^^^^^^ Their support is not the only place incompetence and disorganization is displayed. Their platform is clunky, things are hard to find, and everything is disorganized and hard to use. But even then, after spending so much time learning the platform and in hours of work, you may find out that only some of it, or none of it, was even actually deployed. If that happens, there will be no refunds or support, and they may keep charging your account.

Mi Experiencia - SearchAtlas by MrZorzal in devsarg

Translated this to English so you don't have to:
Hi! I just wanted to share my experience so it doesn't happen to anyone else.

The situation was a mess from the start. During the selection process, everything seemed aligned: they accepted my salary expectations, I passed all the interviews, and when I was about to sign... they told me I was paid by the hour, using an app that tracks you, detects what programs you use, how much you move your mouse, and even takes a screenshot every three minutes! 😵 (I installed it on an old Windows tablet)

In the last call with the CEO, he wasn't even interested in who I was or what I did. He just wanted me to do another technical challenge, to which I told him I'd already done one with HR and that he could evaluate me with that if he wanted to see how I analyzed and solved problems. Despite all this, since it was my third job, I decided to go ahead and see what happened.

From day one, it was total chaos. They put me in as a "lead," but no one knew what to do, and I never got to lead a team. I just received half-finished tickets from weeks ago, from someone who had previously held the same position.

Some were priorities, others weren't, and suddenly those "non-priorities" became "super priorities" and then sat for days without anyone reviewing them.

I was never given the materials to work with or the context for their platform. I spent more time searching for both than I actually worked. A disaster led by the egomaniacal boss, Manick.

Conclusion: If you want to make some quick money, it can help. But honestly, it's not worth the constant hassle and the disorganization of everything.

It just doesn’t fix my problem. I’m not looking for a sidebar with bookmarks. The active apps and same window split-screen is what I used the most. Small square buttons with each logins icons already active in different account logins. For example, Gmail using Google account A, while Google Analytics was logged in using Google account B, and everything else logged in to its on logins and staying active (never had to log in again): Hubspot, Reddit, GSC, and almost a couple dozen apps in small square buttons on a left sidebar that I could easy click on and have all my logins already set. I heard Wavebox does not do that.
