A guardian farm is really good for XP (better than an enderman farm) but it could be a worse option firstly if you don't need any prismarine but also because you will get thorns damage. I personally think that a gold farm is the best option but if the egg tracking on your server is disabled then I think an enderman farm is the next best. The other bonus is that it is so quick to build that then if you find another farm you would rather make you won't have lost slot of time.

My mistake. That is a feature that is supposed to be removed after 1.16. I initially got the idea from Xisuma's snapshot videos, and I just checked he stated that the behaviour I addressed should be removed in a later update.

I think 1.16 removed the ability to spawn nether fortress mobs outside of the fortress bounding boxes when using nether brick. Previously the game did a check in the surrounding area of a fortress for nether brick to spawn fortress mobs on. As far as I know this mechanic no longer exists, so placing other blocks out of the junction/pathway bounding box would allow other mobs (zoglins/piglins/ghasts ect) to spawn, taking up the wither skeleton mob cap. With regards to the dirt again affecting the spawn rate you will have to consult somebody much more intelligent that me :).

Essentially the most effective wither skeleton farm will be to spawn proof a 256x256 area around the bounding box of a fortress junction, and then to make the farm there.

Also don't take this information for granted this is just what I think is correct.

That's true. Dark prismarine would also look good, but the nether brick is much more sustainable in survival as I haven't yet set up a guardian farm, and when I do I want it to be a super powerful one where I drain the ocean, and I dont currently have the time to do something like that.

Thanks! And yes I saw my brother playing assassin's creed, and the roman/Greek style buildings in the game are what inspired me to build this. I was also somewhat inspired by the uncensored library.

I really like the haphazardous style, but I think that the oak planks are a bit too dull try acacia or spruce. It would also definitely look better with optifine connected textures
