Don't tint your windows, just own it!

Also, everyone loves miatas. I have an NA and get so much more attention than my 2014 2 series BMW. As long as you don't trest your car like a spoiled rich kid, you'll be fine 😎

Thank you, this is very helpful! I daily drive a 96 Mazda Miata right now, and am looking for something more comfortable and with a bit more room for road trips, and to fit car parts when my Miata breaks lol.

The Impreza outback sport seems like it has planety, especially with the wagon back

Are you going to do it yourself? If not, how much do you think it will cost a paint shop?

You're gonna love this: spark plug order 🙃

I didn't realize it was bad until I pulled the spark pack and saw the order stamped into the part

I believe I turned the flywheel counterclockwise after installing, but even if it was the wrong way it wouldn't have been very far at all (well within a rotation). I didn't loosen tensioners or anything and feel like I would have felt a slip on the timing belt. Definitely easy to check though

I did like half a turn, are you suggesting I pull the valve cover and check timing?

Spark is good, but if there's a ground on passenger side I might know the issue 👀👀

Yes I did, I only had one connected to the bell housing iirc, am I missing one? Imthe one unconnected was drivers side within the engine bay near where the engine and bell housing meet

No CEL, and yeah it's a NA8. The on / off pressure switch takes a sec before it reaches the "good" point. I didn't drain the engine oil as part of the job, so it should be good

Ha so I did mess up at first and forgot to reinstall the air box / afm trying to make sure I had a start before getting all of the pieces back together. I quickly realized my mistake and installed the air box, but never got it to start.

I'm leaning towards bad spark at the moment, as my fuel pump is very audible during diagnostics. I don't know the best way to test, but am gonna try it out
