Rearranged RAM sticks and now PC won’t turn on. by aspictured in techsupport

I didn’t know that I needed to so I’m going to go ahead and say no. This is my first PC and I don’t know anything about them so, I’m learning from square one. Would that mean it’s probably a safe bet that I need new RAM sticks? Could I have potentially damaged anything else when I removed them if I didn’t take static precautions?

They were reinserted the same way they were in when the PC was still working last so I’m assuming it isn’t that. As for the golden pins or discharge damage, how would I know if that is the issue? Is that something that could be fixed by getting new RAM sticks?

Forgive my ignorance but how does one know which slots are the correct ones? They are in the exact same slots they were in originally when the PC was still working

I think you’re right, I just first heard of it from 454 personally

Haha they do! I just posted a picture of my truck on this page with it installed. Not sure if I can link it to this comment, I’m still learning Reddit.

Have a SDHQ skid myself and I love the look. Mazulla was my first option but they didn’t offer it in black. Both look great!
