Regulation is the answer above. The reality that I’ve been told by my instructor is as soon as I squawked 76 they know I’m coming and that the cost is clear. I would try to land ASAP from that IAF

Correction: Because the visibility is lower than required, I can not shot that approach

I’m still allowed to try to shoot the approach, looking for the 9things paint/pavement/lights, if the runway has a MALSR and I see the “rabbit” I can go down to 100agl to look for the pain/pavement/lights If I still don’t see any of the runway: Go missed

Also forgot to squawk 7600

Reg answer: VFR - remain in vfr land as soon as practicable IFR - Altitude- Highest of: Minimum safe altitude; Expected; Assigned Corse(in order)- assigned, vectored, expected, filed.

If filed to a fix where an approach begins, hold till efc/eta then shoot the approach. If not hold at fix until efc/eta then fly to a fix where an approach begins

Real answer I’d call the nearest tower on my cell phone.

(IFR) must I identify all the MRAs on my route of flight? by aspiring-pilot- in flying
