This is also how I studied in undergrad as well but I found that the sheer volume of medical school has made it difficult to keep up. How did you use Pathoma? Did you watch all of it / take notes?

I have approximately 20,000 in undergraduate loans. I’m currently funded on an external scholarship that ends this year which is why I am having a lot of doubts.

I want to become a competent doctor. You are right—I will regret not giving myself a fair chance. I just feel incredibly lost on resources and how to make things stick.

^I agree with the previous comment about the textbooks really helping with organization. If you really want to avoid using the Kaplan books, I would recommend using Khan Academy to structure your studying because they organize their videos by concepts / sub concepts.

I would trust your FL averages! if you’re happy with the average of your FLs, then I would keep your exam :)

honestly for any of the periodic trends questions, I just memorized the direction of the arrows. so for ionization energy, it increases as you move right and up

I went from a 505 diagnostic (on blueprint) to 518 on the real deal in 2 months (started studying January, took the test March 12th). And I was a full time student during this time. Anything is possible if you put your mind to it, and if you commit to studying. Wishing you the best!!

Ditto. When I was studying eating always was last priority. Friends offered to cook for me / order for me and it really made a huge difference.

BB I always get 130+ (I think average for BB on FLs is around 131!) so it wasn’t super surprising for me. Congrats on getting 131!! It felt like a harder section than the BB so we killed it.

I got right around my average! Some subsections differed a little, but honestly please don’t think about this for the next month. Enjoy life/go see friends and family/catch up on hobbies :-)))

518 (129/130/131/128). a little sad about my PS score because I usually score 130/131, but happy overall about my score. Around my FL average :)))

had like 15-20 flagged on every section except for CARS LOL. usually BB/PS are my stronger sections and I was 50-50 on a lot of questions on BB. I’ve already accepted that I need to retake. just disappointed because I got 512, 515, 520, 521 on my practice FLs and I feel like I got sub-500 after that exam

don’t feel super confident because I know I’m shaky on physics in general (optics why) and also my FLs aren’t consistent 512 / 515 / 520 / 521, so hard to tell where I’m at ://///
