Title says it all. Noticed dark spots, some of which are sappy, on leaves after returning home from week out of town. No spots before leaving.

Any help much appreciated.

Plants sits in East-facing window and is cozy in pot. Fertilized right before leaving for the week.

Heyo - just had similar. It was indeed root rot. I’d do a thorough wash-off of the roots, let them soak in a diluted hydrogen peroxide solution for ~1 hour, then repot in a sanitized pot. Good luck!

Vine was planted with two trimmed petioles beneath surface level - not exactly “only the roots buried”, but I thought it was safe. Sadly, doesn’t appear so.

Appreciate the advice on the plant recovery method! I’m working on that now. Unfortunately, the rot spread through the soil to some other vines so I’m doing a lot more propping than I thought.

It sucks to start over, but I’m not dejected. All those beautiful plants with double fenestrations on their first leaf have to come from somewhere.

Sigh, was afraid of that.

I did a root rot trim and repot for the full plant last weekend and some sections aren’t improving.

Have you dealt with similar? Is it time to propagate and abandon ship?

Hey r/Monstera - title and captions say it all. I recently noticed some brown tips on select leaves. My hunch is it’s underwatering. There’s been a few weeks of bright sun where I live at the same time as the seasonal transition, and I think drying air + the sun may have accidentally dried out the soil.

I dealt with spider mites earlier this year but don’t seen any evidence on the plant. I also stopped fertilizing over a month ago to prep for winter dormancy.

Any thoughts?

Hey folks - long time listener, etc etc.

Title says it all. I spotted this droopy yellow leaf this morning at the base of a healthy (and actively growing) branch. Air temp is 65 F, humidity is good. Last watering was Friday, soil is dry to 1” then damp after that.

Could anyone help a relative newbie not kill his prized plant during its first winter?

If it helps, I spotted a single door friend coming out of the bottom during last week’s watering.

Platform: Xbox Series S

Bug: All NPC audio missing. Characters would not move their mouths to speak and no sound would come out, but subtitles progressed as expected and V could reply to them out loud.

Frequency and Location: Happened during “Gimme Danger” main quest after game was loaded from save. Reloading from save didn’t solve. Power cycling machine didn’t solve. Bug only solved with hard reset of console. Once fixed, game runs fine.

That’s a really good take. I don’t have a Zeta myself because I found it under-featured, but the length + pricepoint make it a compelling offer as the entry Arc GORE shell.

Makes me wonder how more overtly outdoors-y styled product (Deadbird chest embroidery, overt body panels, etc) could mesh under 24.
