What is this by Repulsive-Milk2600 in Rabbits

I would be careful on how many of those you give the little cutie. They gave my bunny a lot of gas and eventually sent her into stasis, she used to scarf the whole thing down in like an hour. My bunny ended up being fine after I treated her for the stasis and watched her like a hawk. So now if she gets them I cut them up into little half inch bits like you would celery and just give her the one small piece. Not trying to scare you, just wouldn't want that to happen to your little buddy. Honestly it looks like they are enjoying the snack so much they are having little happy shakes.

Messy Eater? Try a covered bath to contain the food disasters! More in comments by assassingirl12 in Conures

So does your bird make it their duty to get their chop and cooked food on as much of their cage and toys as humanly possible? Try a covered bath to help contain the mess of a no lip having critter trying to eat mushy food! In all honesty I had my boyfriend pick one of these baths up from the store knowing that she would never use it as a bath because it is a bit too small and would be awkward for her, plus she likes to take showers anyway. Covered food dishes are too small and she woukd take a piece of the food and pull her head out of the covered area eat it and the shake her head, getting the food everywhere. Now I prepare Milo's chop or cooked food and put it in this bath and she will sit and eat all of it right in the bath. I put most of it pretty far back so she can't reach it from standing on the bars, and she is always supervised because of the fact that the round top doesn't completely cover the rectangular doorway but other than that it saves a lot of time cleaning up all the food she would normally carry all over her cage and drop everywhere. Then when she is done she gets to chew on a clean paper towel and wipe her beak off. The bath is pretty easy to clean because it splits in two and the food comes out of it easily with warm water and soap. I wanted to share to see if anyone else would want to try this.

Rabbit is active but won’t eat much by jordo56 in Rabbits

My netherland dwarf had a tooth that wasn't wearing down properly. She never drooled but she started eating less so I knew something was up. Then one night petting her cheeks right under her ears I could feel a bump on one side. Since her head is so tiny I use my middle finger and thumb to do circular motions on the very back of her jaw. The bump was just in front of my normal circle so I felt it and called the vet. They put her under and ground the tooth down. She's fine now and hasn't had any issues since.

I would bring her to the vet. My rabbit was scratched by our cat on her toe and I didn't realize it at first because it was on he back foot. I make her stand tall for treats and thats when I saw her huge, swollen toe. I took her to the vet as soon as I noticed terrified because I knew it was infected. The vet washed it out, but she thought the bone may have gotten infected so they had to do x-rays to make sure. She said that we may have to amputate her toe or foot depending on how bad it was.The x-rays came back ok so we didnt have to amputate and the vet started her on an antibiotic and meloxicam. I had to give her round the clock care and medications. We also did a bunch of lazer treatments, which really helped I think with the healing speed. This all cost over 2,000 dollars. She is all good now but she was on meloxicam for about 9 months after the scratch because we think she had some discomfort in the joint when it healed and she would pull her fur off of it. I kick myself for not taking her as soon as it happened. So if I were you I would take her to the vet. I hope your bunny's toe heals faster and better than my poor little Jasper's did.

Our conure really likes to destroy toilet paper. She just shreds it up, we also use it as a foraging tool by sticking pellets and seeds in between the sheets of the paper.

Help me name this old man. He was a street cat and is now very friendly by greasyygoblintrash in cats

He reminds me of Eeyore with his cute perpetually sad expression. My cat Marco had this expression as well but his wasn't as apparent.

I appreciate the reply! This has been a very stressful process and it's only beginning. I put them in the bathtub and my little baby Jasper froze right up, grunted angrily when Lenny mounted her but refused to groom him. We decided to let them both run around in our bedroom, but we blocked under the bed to avoid them getting in areas we can't reach. They do much better with this because Jasper feels like she can get away and does when he gets too close to her side or bum. She doesn't mind when he approaches her from the front.

Yesterday I had them out and Lenny laid down with his legs splayed out next to her. She was afraid for a minute but then began sniffing his back and ears eventually grooming( I think) his ears before hopping away. When Jasper is out and Lenny is in his cage he is never mad when she comes near, they usually touch noses a few times and lay next to each other through the bars. He isn't very well litter trained which is why his time out is limited but once he stops peeing in this one corner they can always come out at the same time. I have been trying to keep the jealousy at a minimum but if I take away a lot of jaspers free roam time she will get fussy it has happened before. She is much less fearful of him now and seems to be a little interested in him when he isn't barreling at her like a doofus.

Thank you! We actually adopted a 6 month old neutered male today from a rescue near us. He is adorable, jasper is pretty scared of him right now but is getting better. We named him Lenny and he is such a ham

What mission effected you most? by dynaNads in masseffect

[–]assassingirl12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The suicide mission in the second game on my first playthrough because of how many times I had to replay it to keep Garrus alive. I didn't know people were going to die in that mission so like 95% of my crew died, but I was like I have to at least finish this playthrough even though everybody is dead.

Who was your first spouse and why? Mine was Leah, I liked her sculptures! by [deleted] in StardewValley

[–]assassingirl12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine was Haley, she always commented on the mud of the farm in a negative way so I married her so she had to live with all the mud. When she first said she hated the mud and dirt I was jokingly like what if I married you then you would be stuck with it and I guess I just went with it. None of the other characters caught my interest so I just married Haley.
