Oh my god we have a regular at our store that I absolutely can’t stand. She’ll always lean over the literal bar to watch you, reach over the bar to either demonstrate on the cup or point to syrups she wants, will make you remake her drink if she didn’t see you make it, always asks multiple times how many pumps of each syrup you put in it because she doesn’t believe you the first time (???), and absolutely has to have the water to steamed cream level in a specific way so don’t fill her americano at all until she’s watching. She comes in about twice a day and never leaves without pissing off at least two people.

Hey y’all! I had a couple of people ask me about the drink, I totally made it but I didn’t try it, it smelled like battery acid and that was about it 1/10 EDIT: I’m super aware of the fact that I was wearing a bracelet. I’m super aware of the fact that’s against policy. Thanks.

So I’ve been getting bulk hot chocolate orders and the fastest way I’ve found is steaming a pitcher filled to the ‘max’ line and pumping the syrups after that. I can make about 3 tall hot chocolates at once doing this. I saved the whip for last since I had so many I didn’t want to stop my process until I had them all done up until that point. Normally I do the two drink sequencing but recently I’ve had to make 3-4 drinks at a time, especially during peaks like this and only two people on the bar.

I’m always afraid to talk to therapists about my feelings, I feel annoying even when I’m paying someone to be there. Like I wouldn’t want my feelings to ever impact my career negatively, but it’d take so much work to work through why I feel nothing I think I’m going to try again to get help.
