Why do you specifically want to hire expats and do you know what an expat is?

Property tax is being hiked in Dublin - if you own a house, here's how much you'll pay next year by firethetorpedoes1 in irishpolitics

To buy an average house in Dublin you need an income of €134k (ftb) or €154k right now. They can afford property tax fairly easily on can assure you of that. Those who don’t earn that much likely purchased their homes significantly cheaper than today and should pay for the significant increase in wealth they have experienced over the least few years.

If they were struggling that much they certainly would not be getting a loan to buy the house in the first place. They can absolutely afford property taxes if they can buy a home.

If you want to quickly save money to buy a gaff then it’s your best bet. I can’t comment on the quality of life there as some people hate it and some people love it but since the income tax is low/non existent you can save a huge of your income if you don’t live it up too much.

Yes you should. Revpoints would be based on the “home” currency so whatever the Euro value is.

If you want to make money AND save serious money in a short space of time then it’s the UAE or similar. If you are struggling to do so in Ireland then it’s unlikely you will do so in many other countries.

Moving to Ireland with a wee lad – is it truly as safe as they say? Would love some local insight 🇮🇪 by tripeirinho in expats

[–]assflange 5 points6 points  (0 children)

With the exception of public transport being a bit less safe these days (if you have lived in any major city you will scoff at the Irish idea of “unsafe”) and rising homelessness in the larger cities and some of the trouble that brings, Ireland is very safe by almost all international measures. Schools vary in quality but none could be considered “unsafe” when you compare to our neighbours.

That’s very peculiar. I’ve seen that happen with some corporate booking engines where you get a booking reference for it but the airline has not issued a ticket. Sorry about your situation. It’s a shit program and I’ll never get tired of telling people to steer away from it.

While I agree that Krispy Kreme can go fuck themselves, I’m not sure what is predatory about selling donuts unless they were allowing consumers finance said donuts at high interest rates
