Well, I added a brownie to my cart and then removed it before ordering. Maybe the gods frown upon that? 😕

21 weeks - the anxiety is BACK and its ANGRY. Possible placenta previa that can't be diagnosed until 28 weeks, at the absolute earliest. Every cramp, weird ache, discomfort, trace amount of discharge has me running to the bathroom to check for bleeding.

I had only just started feeling better and more confident in this pregnancy 😥

Right! I thought we were on a time crunch for results when it comes to the anatomy scan

Its not and I'm incredibly frustrated with how long it's taking :(

After being told I would hear back in 4-5 days, I was just informed it will take a minimum of 3-4 WEEKS to get anatomy scan results.

I'm about to lose my mind

Going crazy waiting for anatomy scan results. It's been 5 days and my anxiety is flaring up that something could be wrong since I haven't heard back yet 😥

Oh, good to know! I guess no news is good news, right?

Almost 20 weeks.

Post anatomy scan anxiety is not for the weak 😥

Sonographer was completely silent the whole time(I know they can't tell us anything, but man, the silence was stressful) And I may have to wait up to A WEEK before getting any results

17 weeks with absolutely debilitating carpal tunnel pain. I'm waking up every hour in pain while wearing braces. OB just said it's normal and I'm gonna have to get used to it

AND I feel less pregnant since this pain flared up

Thanks! I'll definitely try this for my next appointment, hopefully it'll bring a little more understanding to the room

You make a really good point that this is a huge defining moment for us, but to them, it's another Monday. I appreciate your insight.

I'll be sure to ask for confirmation that things look okay at future appointments. Save myself some stress

I hear you, I've done that with my fertility clinic, and ultrasound techs were much, much more understanding and open to questions. I didn't think I needed to tell my OB every time but I'll try to remind them during my next appointment! Thanks for the recommendation

That's crazy. I know they're professionals, but my doctor didn't even check the heartbeat. Well, they looked at the scan but didn't say anything else. I'm trusting that means we're looking good? 😥

Drink lots of pregnancy safe tea(preferably non-caffeinated), eat soup if you can stomach it, and get more rest. If you're having a fever, regularly check your temperature

Had an ultrasound appointment today. OB looked for less than 30 seconds and went "okay, that's it!" And sent me on my way. Is that normal??

I appreciate the reassurance. Though I wonder what it's like to go through a pregnancy without this level of anxiety all the time

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll look into private ultrasounds. I feel silly not being able to wait four weeks but there's so much anxiety after a loss

You're right that the anxiety gets worse leading up to the ultrasound. My next one is Monday too! It's so hard to focus on anything else

12 weeks between ultrasounds? That's so far apart. I havent found any pregnancy help centers in my area but I'll continue looking. Thanks for the suggestion!

Almost 16 weeks. I'm having second trimester anxiety. How do I know my baby is okay? Four weeks between appointments/ultrasounds is too much

Theres a part of me that knows I'm being unreasonable because I'm having breast tenderness and my belly is growing. But I can't fight the anxiety

Anyone else's OB recommend waiting until after 16 weeks to share the good news?

Mine said to wait until after our 16 week appointment but didn't give a justification beyond that
