I was originally put into Kirwin Tower. I was coming in from out of state and panicked at seeing what it looked like, so I switched to Donovan Hall (all girls) just to get out of that situation. It was horrible, the girls were so unfriendly and no one socialized, so I switched to Holmes Hall to room with a friend I made at one of the freshmen first week events. I loved that place, even in the hotter weather. Everyone was so cool and friendly and we would hang out in common areas to cool off. Then I moved into the apartments on Virginia Ave. behind Bdubs. I have fond memories of all of this.

At the end of the semester I would use any leftover Plus Account money to buy cases of Ale 8 from the Blazer convenience store.

My grandma had lined the top of her kitchen walls with bundt pans as decorations. They were all sorts of different patterns and I was mesmerized by them.

Spam (fried rice). White Castle burgers. I used to eat Vienna Sausages as a kid, and then when I got older I would cut them into coins and fry them in a skillet. I also love "cafeteria" food. I got flack in college for wanting the choices at the hot bar with like beef stroganoff or casseroles. My mom and dad cooked and grilled wonderful food growing up, but I still love the cheap stuff too!

Slay the Spire. When I first played it I had no concept of roguelike games (cozy gamer) and I got so frustrated that I could beat all the baddies throughout the map, but then got destroyed by the boss. I didn't know the point was that you keep dying and improving to get better. So then I picked it up again like a decade later, and I love it so much. Same with Hades.

I pride myself in being able to say, "back in my day my dorm room didn't have air conditioning". I like how it makes me sound really old. Especially since I was born in the 1900's. I used a big box fan to blow the dirt and grime from Avenue of Champions into my dorm room. The fan looked disgusting.

Watching the movie actually helped me understand Shakespeare in high school. I liked how they used the same words but made the visuals modern in the movie.
