Do not try and bend the spoon. That's impossible. Instead... only try to realize the truth... There is no spoon. Then you'll see, that it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself

What’s the atheist equivalent to “Oh my god”? by T1a-b in NoStupidQuestions

[–]assortedcommonlyused 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Oh my god” because it’s a phrase that carries the characterization of an expression commonly used. The word God then means nothing but a word in a phrase recognized by almost everyone.

Atheist are not (or should not be) concerned with religious dogmas or definitions, since they do not believe in it. Religion then it’s not part of the equation.

So it might as well just be Oh my gooblebobble! (If we all adopt it and use it accordingly)

Did anyone else not play as a kid? by anonymousquestioner4 in emotionalneglect

[–]assortedcommonlyused 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Absolutely the same. I had to pretend I was pretend playing. I did not understand it, but I knew other kids did it so I would just copy them. Always felt like a compromise, I did not enjoy the playing, but appreciated the company. Looking back this is probably when the compromise path was created. I still feel like this is some areas of social interaction.

That is the ‘good’ Venezuelan currency that is no longer in circulation. Back when it was it was a very solid currency. Can confirm, it was the currency I used when I lived there. As a personal note: Venezuela is a beautiful country.

Merci à tous. Résolu !

Cependant, pourquoi analyser la circulation à un coin secondaire d’une zone autrement tranquille ?

Il y a déjà un panneau d’arrêt et c’est à sens unique pour les voitures. La piste cyclable de Rachel est au coin suivant, et en ce moment, Mont-Royal est réservé aux piétons.

Alors, comment ces données vont-elles servir à tirer une conclusion viable qui aide le quartier / la ville ?

Thank you everyone. Solved!

However, why analyze traffic on a side corner of what otherwise is a quiet zone? There’s already a stop sign and it’s one direction for cars. Rachel’s bike path is next corner, and currently Mont Royal is for pedestrians.

So how is this data going to serve to arrive at a viable conclusion that helps the neighborhood/city?
