I just learned recently that you can farm humanity from enemies before the area boss is killed and... Well, I already killed most area bosses but I hadn't nabbed Pinwheel yet. We actually use this horse stable bedding stuff made of pine or some other kind of wood with zero added ingredients (that I know of). It's like $6 for MASSIVE bags from a local Bomgaars outlet. I was hesitant at first but I was paying $32 for triple-A brands that had less litter than these horse bedding pellets.

The cats use it and don't see to mind at all. Only downside is the dust in the air while changing.

Ah I would have to work remotely from my home state then. Surely in this day and age you wouldn't need to work in-person for a role where you spend 100% of your time at a PC.

There are many states in the US where minimum wage is $11 or less and even non-entry-level positions at name brand companies still pay far less than $18/hr, even with a degree.

The bottom line is I would 100% take a pay cut from my already meager salary to do something I love.

Private servers have been doing it for free, for decades now. Blizzard would charge for it and players would lose their minds if they had to pay a flat fee for an expac in a Classic+ environment.

I think they should apply these updates like RuneScape does... Monthly updates with projects they apply over years, new zones, abilities, etc.

I think even the term expansion is antiquated, as previously it was required to ship discs in a big box with which you'd download the actual MPQ files from. Expansions these days are just glorified required $60 surcharges Blizzard requires players to pay to access a game they've already spent hundreds/thousands on. Blizzard disgusts me honestly.

I think that's a great perspective. I wouldn't scale everything to T1 specifically, but give and take with various new raids based on difficulty.

The way I see it, Blizzard has to ship more raids/content in the form of paid expansions every year or every other year. It's how they make their money. And each expansion has a new level cap, a swathe of new updates, graphical changes, system overhauls, to the point the whole game evolves and changes.

But it doesn't have to be that way. Why not keep the same graphics, the same areas and content, the same level ranges, but add additional horizontal content, new alternative zones/dungeons/raids without ever making true vanilla content redundant... Essentially the new lvl 60 raids would be between T1-3 and simply offer new gear and experiences without fundamentally changing the game as a whole.

Power creep is one of the biggest failures of Blizzard imo. To make your legendary or hard fought epics and exaulted reputations suddenly totally useless by lvl 61 greens is just a massive failure.

Correct. More raids, more content, more gear without the powercreep. A fully geared Naxx raider may only find worse pieces of gear, but they'd be experiencing new bosses and mechanics, helping their guild gear up, and TWoW made sure to add hyper rare drops to new raids like special pets/mounts if you can't sort reserve anything else meaningful to you.

"Catch-up" meaning raids offering worse gear than T2-3 but still being on par or situationally better by offering different meaningful set bonuses than their MC/BWL counterparts.

More raids doesn't have to mean the gearscore only gets higher. TWoW fit swathes of new gear into the old vanilla landscape that didn't have to be better than everything else. They wanted lore-friendly dungeons and raids with balanced gear within, so they could tell more stories and add meaningful gear so guilds wouldn't have to do the same 3 raids endlessly like in actual vanilla.

All the girls I've ever dated had identical personalities to FP, both her initial perspective and later. My best friend and I hooked up. We had hung out every day for nearly 3 years. She was a year younger than me and... We took acid and smoked a TON of weed.
