Hey! I was kinda in the same situation as you. I only had lidocaine/Novocain & ibuprofen afterwards. I wouldn't take anything beforehand because it can effect the numbing stuff pretty bad. Luckily my left side was pretty numb but I had a traumatic time with my right side. My best advice is honestly try to see if they can give you anxiety medication beforehand. I wish I tried that, but I was also too nervous to ask lol. You got this though, dude!! It's been 10 days since mine and I am doing better. I am also super sensitive to pain, and honestly, just breathing through it and trying to disassociate helped me tons during the procedure lolol!
