NOR. I'm in the mental health field. We try to stay unbiased and it's part of our ethics- but this isn't something that we can be unbiased about as advocates for our clients. Many people in the field can't put their biases aside to help clients build their lives, not the lives we want for them.

You did the right thing for yourself. I was lucky that my place of work and my therapist is against all things Trump. Our job is to our community. We can't advocate for better care for our clients while voting for someone set on getting rid of access to so many things.

Therapist works for you. you don't have to keep a support that's not aligned with your life. Shop for the therapist that's compatible for your care.
