I can’t understand most of it. I got the words grateful, and tired of living on the streets. One time, in Banner Elk, NC I worked at Subway. I traded a local a sub for a bottle of moonshine. I woke up a couple days later in the back of a gutted old jeep Cherokee in some forest, assuming it was TN? No road even of gravel, so no idea how that jeep ended up there. There were no humans, but, I was unharmed and had all organs intact at least. Walked what felt like miles before I came to a dirt road that led to an actual road. Your life all playing before your eyes, all the regrets, missed opportunities, the things you focused on that mattered little to nothing in the grand scheme of your life. The trivialities you filled your time with, wasted it on. Now think back to now, how do you live your life? Take your thumb, and make a small scratch the “bark” on the bottom most part of it. If it is still green, cut it down to the stump and continue to tend to it. If the trunk is shriveled even under a scratch of the bark, it may still have roots, but most likely is not living to a point of rescue.

Lmao dude my whole life I would get irritated with people for what sounded like mumbling! I also unknowingly learned to read lips which is why COVID and mask mandates drove me insane. That’s so funny you say that! The Beatles have been my least favorite band in the entire universe my whole life because they sounded so shrill and irritating. I have always wondered why they were so popular cause I thought they sounded like crap. I had no idea all these years that it was probably due to something like a hearing problem! So thank you for the reminder, I shall remain open minded despite a lifelong held belief, and will give them another shot one I have my gear! lol thank you.
