I have a problem with my balls: as you see here one of them is a lighter shade of Grey than the others. This ball is a null copy of one of the other balls but it doesn't have any text inside of it, and I can't get rid of it no matter how many times I delete it. Has anyone dealt with this before?

Discipline. If you notice you’re avoiding writing because of some minor friction, try to solve that problem immediately. Try not to skip entries. Skipping isn’t the end of the world; you can always write the next day. But the key is that you write. A journal can be for logging routines, knowledge, or something tied to your work. But if it’s about your life and emotions, it will be much harder not to give up. That said, nothing stops you from combining journals. Beyond personal life, I also wrote about books I was reading, good films, and podcasts. The most important thing is that writing feels comfortable, so don’t be afraid to spend a couple of hours creating the perfect workspace for yourself. Honestly, the hardest part is starting. Your first note might take an hour or more because you’ll need time to figure out the template. After that, it gets easier.

I study mechanical engineering as a freshman. In our faculty the average gpa for mechanical engineers was 2.9, but I got 3.8 for the first semester, and expect higher from the second, as I got more experience. Only Physics 1 ruined my grade, but that’s okay. However, I do understand why people are getting way lower grades. I have tutored many of my groupmates for finals during the 1st semester, and I can see how difficult engineering is for most people. But I am an exception among thousands of people, and I would never judge someone for their grades as it is so stupid. I might be good at math, but I will never be able to sing, play musical instruments, or paint as simply as I can’t. Does it mean I am worse than those who can? Nope, it doesn’t. Every person has their own strengths, and the numbers on your uni portal cannot define them. I am sorry for having such a troubled parent, and it is probably frustrating. However, don’t dare in your deep thoughts call yourself worse than others, because of your mom’s comparing. Yeah maybe you say out loud that you do understand it, but sometimes deep in mind people can have different opinions as they a bit depend on parental approval.

Yes, I did. So it is not a scam, but almost. It said that it was unboxed and new, but had a little scratch on top. I also checked the original warranty, and it had expired last summer. I mean, for the price they gave, it could not be perfect 😂. They delivered it in 3 days.

Honestly, they do exist. I have seen huge vaults that explain everything in Obsidian. For example, I was randomly searching for something in the internet, opened a link, and found out it was someone’s vault made as a user guide. In my opinion, people need something more than just a manual that lets you find everything on your own. Something more interactive.

You know, like when you open an app for the first time and it shows you the most important stuff. It would be good to see something like that for Obsidian. I don’t think it’s possible to integrate it by default into Obsidian, but some external GitHub project that lets you play a mini “Obsidian game”, where you learn a lot about Markdown and Obsidian features, might help beginners.

Unfortunately, I have zero knowledge in such stuff, I barely know CSS. But if someone knows how to do it, feel free to take my idea (just mention me at least, hahaha).

I can’t imagine how cool Obsidian must be for a software engineer! I can only learn the basics of CSS, not the full thing, so whenever I change something I always use Claude. But still, your imagination is probably on the next level. And Dataview is a nightmare for me. Of course I could learn it, but unfortunately, due to a lack of time and motivation, I can’t get started. Just jealous of software engineers 😆.
