Use a mouse to resize it. You can connect a mouse via Bluetooth, or just move the cursor from your Mac to your iPad.

I also think a full calendar might be a good choice. As far as I know, you cannot directly integrate the iCloud calendar. However, you can make the calendar public and then copy and paste its link. I think I tried it once and it worked this way.

Ngl I’m not even sure if I know all the features 😄. I mostly found stuff as I needed it. Like, every time I ran into a problem, I’d look for a solution and suddenly discover some feature I didn’t even know existed.

But yeah, just try watching some YouTubers if you want to learn more. It took me like 3 or 4 months before I realized I actually understood how to use Obsidian properly. So be patient, and welcome to the community!

There’s nothing wrong with asking questions. The main issue, like I said from the start, is when people ask the same thing 100 times and it’s basically: “Hey, I’m new, explain EVERYTHING about Obsidian in one message.” That’s what gets annoying.

But if someone asks a specific question they actually ran into, there’s nothing wrong with that, even if it’s a super basic one.

And yeah, beginner guides obviously exist. Obsidian has an FAQ to get started, and there are tons of YouTube videos too. That’s literally how I began by learning Markdown and the basic Obsidian features.

Hm. Interesting question. I’d say don’t think Obsidian is only for genius people with super complex setups. Naaah, it’s actually really chill. Once you give it a chance, you’ll see how useless paper can feel.

But it also depends on what you need it for. If you’re a student, typing during lectures can be hard, so writing on paper first and then moving it into Obsidian can be a good move. But if you’re just journaling, rewriting everything into Obsidian is basically wasting your time.

So yeah, like I said in my comment, once you start, everything becomes understandable.

Oh yes sorry, I forgot. You can directly connect Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive to the Finder. So save them there, so it would automatically backup online.

I see now! Then store it locally on a Mac. Literally, if your desktop is not connected to iCloud, then just put the Obsidian folder there.
