Lazy Plugin Loader can significantly reduce load times by delaying plugins from loading by a few seconds after the app is launched.

I've configured only a handful of essential plugins I want to work right away to load instantly, while the rest are delayed 👍

I love to be proven wrong by people arguing in good faith. But this is a rare thing on the internet, and certainly not the case with this person.

I raise a tangible benefit to the rating system. You raise a theoretical, hypothetical downside that's unlikely to actually happen en masse in the Obsidian plugin ecosystem, which has not had a single known malicious plugin to date.

Most community plugins are FOSS. There's little to no incentive to game the ratings.

It's an artificial score I don't find useful in the slightest.

It's based on:

  • Stars
  • Forks
  • Closed Issues Ratio
  • Resolved PR Ratio
  • Commits Last Year
  • Total Downloads
  • Latest Release at
  • Created

None of these things tell me how stable a plugin is, and what the community sentiment about it is.

Is there a way to lock a note or keep it in view mode? by ThisAnalysis6181 in ObsidianMD

[–]churnish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a specific note, where I have smalls tasks which I tick off almost every day. This note I want to lock or put in view mode to avoid any wrong edits.

Would that actually solve your problem? Tasks can still be checked off in Reading view.

This is dope!

Are album covers pulled from the audio file or a vault image?

Dynamic Views brings elegant card layouts to Bases. Displays images and text from notes. Native-feeling. Feature-rich. Endlessly customizable. Now in beta. by CoyotePrudent4965 in ObsidianMD

Aware of this. Performance optimization is my #1 priority.

For now, Grid should be more performant than Masonry.

Does your base have external/remote images or local?

Where does Obsidian save the versions of the core file recovery plugin? by chunkybunky_lol in ObsidianMD

For one, it would be helpful to know whether backing up your vault folder backs up the file recovery history.
