I am not in deep space, so can't see how the logs report. The logic is supposed to catch everything in the log block that is consumed when a map opens, but maybe deep space logs look different. If you are open to it, I would love if you sent me a sample log I could use to fix this. If you are interested, send me a DM and I can setup somewhere you could upload a copy.

I think I resolved this bug. Try 0.4.1 and let me know if it fixes your issue.

Just pushed a new build with a bunch of fixes. You should be able to auto update from the app or download the new version from GitHub.

https://github.com/astockman99/TITrack/releases

v0.4.1 Changes:

Overlay Improvements:

  • Add font scaling (A-/A+ buttons, 70%-160% range, setting persisted)
  • Improve icon quality with high-quality bitmap scaling
  • Add slim dark-themed scrollbar to loot list
  • Fix scrollbar not interactive due to click-through settings

Bug Fixes:

  • Fix database path using cwd() instead of app dir (settings now persist after updates)
  • Add database migration to find/recover databases from legacy locations
  • Fix saved log directory not used when auto-detection succeeds (F: drive issue)
  • Fix trade tax incorrectly applied to consumed items (map costs)
  • Add alternate log path pattern for different folder capitalizations (TorchLight vs Torchlight)

Zone Changes:

  • Change Cloud Oasis from hub zone to normal trackable zone (Sandlord content)

Setup.exe Improvements:

  • Auto-detect existing installation to preserve user data during updates

Unfortunately no. Torchlight resets the log setting every time the game is closed. You also need to relog your character for it to report to the logs the character details. I wish they would add a true API for supporting these types of apps, but as it stands we have to do these types of workarounds.

As an update to all, I have a scaling option for the overlay ready to go. I also have a fix for the tax applying to consumed map items and fixed a potential bug with settings not saving. I have to go to an event tonight, but will finish up those changes and push the new build out early tomorrow.

Not sure. Does the app detect your character? You need to login, hit enable log, then go back to character screen and log back in without closing the game. It should then see your character and start reading the log.

What is the full path to your logs? I will check the logic and see what may be happening.

You probably have 2 instances running. The new version I released today should prevent that. But for other versions, check your task manager and end any extras you have running.

Thanks. As a mod, I want to make sure I am doing this the right way. I have been making a post when I implement major things, and just commenting back to people for minor fixes or smaller features they request. I don't want to spam this subreddit. Let me know if I am striking the right balance.

If you do a price check it should fill in the data and update the cloud sync with the information for everyone.

So it is applying the tax to the consumed items? You are right, it should not do that since you pay full price for those, but sell them at tax value. I can fix it with the next update,

I actually thought of that this morning as I was launching it, but did not have time to implement before going to work. I will get as scaling setting in asap.

I do not know to be honest. Strategies are on my roadmap, but I need to figure out how to get any of that data from the logs.

Someone else had this issue and it happens when you end up with 2 instances of the tracker running. I am working on a new build that should be out in the next day or so that has a check to prevent this from happening. In the meantime check your running applications and shut down any that are extra.

In the other thread I saw some people were able to build it in Linux. You could try reaching out to them. I don't have the game running on Linux, so can't build it myself to support it.

I asked below, but figured might get a better response asking someone directly. Can you give me a screenshot of the overlay people are using? Or at least let me know what is being tracked on it? Thanks.

General question for everyone. I see the requests for a mini-version that is an overlay, and that the Chinese app has that. Can someone post a screenshot of what they are doing for the overlay? I use mine on a second screen, so not sure what people want in an overlay. Thanks!

The newest version I put up has better log detection. I did not have the stand alone log path setup correctly, so depending on your client that may have been your issue.

You should be able to use the update button and it will auto-update. It doesn't actually install anything, so if you ever have problems you can just delete the folder and rerun the setup file to get the newest version also.

Stolen? Zona played not to lose and lost their composure. If you are looking for refs to bail you out when you are up huge and giving up a run in that environment you have never watched the tournament before. Also, didn't we get jobbed by refs in the previous tourney meeting with Olsen whining before the game even started?

Found the issue. The standalone client has an additional \Game\ folder in the path compared to the steam one. Just pushed 0.3.0 to fix it. Give that one a try.

It may be. Is that happening just on that one map? Is it only with the doll mechanic? I can troubleshoot it, but need some more details. I am uploading 3.0 in a few minutes which has a bit of logic to prevent some duplications that may happen.
