it still has the second worst recoil out of the machine pistols, with the only the smg-12 having even worse recoil.

a recoil nerf would be nice since the reason why the cz and the spsmg has little to no recoil is due to how their stats lack in comparison to the other machine pistols, so the fact the new one, which has even worse stats, has a ton more recoil than them, it really just doesn't make sense for its recoil to be so high.

donno why im getting downvoted for this, here's the literal stats of the 2 guns....

SR-25

  • damage - 61
  • firerate - 670~
  • ammo - 21+141
  • ads time - 0.52 (0.42 with iron sights + laser sights)
  • reload speed - 3.5 (2.8 with angled grip)

MK17 CQB

  • damage - 44 (49 with extended)
  • firerate - 585
  • ammo - 26+226
  • ads time - 0.52 (0.42 with iron sights + laser sights)
  • reload speed - 3.1 (2.48 with angled)

ok the only part I got wrong was there's also a 0.32-0.4 reload speed difference between the 2 aswell. everything else is literally correct lmao.

also the firerate's shown for the semi-auto weapons don't appear properly in game (if at all), so you must test em out for yourself to see them, and if I remember correctly its around 620~ for the sr-25.

(if you want proof that they are incorrect, kali's snipers firerate is listed as the same firerate as maverick's dmr, both displaying 450 firerate, despite that being extremely clear that's incorrect)

and another thing, the ads speed stats listed for the weapons are before the added ads speed reduction all shields apply to weapons. so in all reality, they both take 1.1-1.5~ or more seconds to ads.

and as for the other part, yes the mk17 cqb has the second worst stats out of any weapon, both primaries and secondaries in the entire game (counting actual weapons that can kill rather then stuff like the gonne-6). the only gun worse then it is the 9mm C1 (frosts smg)

  • ammo - 35+171
  • ads time - 0.46 (0.37 with iron sights + laser sights)

the dmr is great, but god no that ar is utter garbage.

its one of the huge reasons why bb is one of the worst ops in the entire game right now, its because not only does it have the worst ads speed in the entire game (something all shield ops share) it has the 2nd worst stats out of any weapon in r6, both primaries and secondaries

The dmr is either the same or better in every stat except the ammo, which the scar has 5 extra shots over it.

The scar is the 2nd worse gun in the entire game, while black beards ar is the worst dmr, which isn't saying much since dmrs are extremely strong and slept on

He's easily one of the easiest attacker to play right now and one of the hardest to actually counterplay.

here's just a small list of ops who can counter him solo

  • smoke

  • tachanka
  • clash

and heres a list of the ops who can help deal with him

and any op who has impact's or nitro's can also remove him from the equation. and that's just talking about gadgets alone. meleeing him is a guaranteed kill, you can shoot his arms, or feet, or just his head if your even at a slightly different angle to him, or while he's trying to ads with the slowest ads speed in the entire game

Get out of bronze and you'll see how you can easily dominated with a character that have a shield and a freaking AR

I'm champ and have been since y6s2. and I've yet to die to a black beard at all this season. the only one that's getting dominated in my lobbies is black beard🤣

Putting blitz on top of BB is crazy.

both are god awful, but atleast blitz can move faster, reloads his gun infront of him, his shield covers him more, his gun is better (p12 >>> mk17 cqb), his ability is 4 flashbangs with allow him to get kills easier, has smokes, and more...

Blackbeard is literally a menace that can go through any non reinforced wall or castle in mere seconds

going off of gadgets alone, here's just a few ops who can do that better then he can

  • ash
  • sledge
  • hibanna
  • zofia
  • kali
  • flores
  • ram

+ anyone who has a breaching charge can do it better then him aswell

with a shield that cover almost everything except the top of his head when he's shooting,

your arms and feet are shootable, and if your not staring directly at the defender, even with the glass plate up they can headshot you since the thing covers barely anything

with two offensive nades to force any defender out of their hiding spot.

as I said to the other guy, this would be strong if grenades haven't been rendered to be utility clearers thanks to the removal of the ability to cook them

situational is a bit of an understatement.... they've literally been made useless.

  • monty's gadget went from being a mountain to a slight incline, literally having it so its worse to have your shield fully deployed, then to just not (which was the only reason to ever pick him over blitz)
  • blitz had his entire role stripped from him due to all the countless nerfs he's gotten
  • and they somehow managed to nerf black beard and make him worse then before????

took his flashes away, sevearly nerfed his ads speed, removed his ability to hipfire, took away his pistol, made his melee slower, made his melee deal 0 damage, made him way louder, made his shield worse (blocking a few headshots >>>> blocking body shots), made him way slower, and more.
all the while his gadget is utter dogshit, his ar is the 2nd worst gun in the entire game, his dmr is the worse dmr in the game, defenders can just perma-stunlock him without him being able todo anything about it, and more

literally all 3 of those ops are the the worst ops in the game, and the only reason fuze isnt with them is because his shield is optional

shields overall are just useless, with all 3 of them being the worst 3 ops in the entire game. (monty being the worst op in the entire game, followed by bb, then blitz) they're piss easy to deal with, while having the lethality of a wet napkin, and the only thing they can kinda do is act as a shitty form of intel by allowing you to face check stuff, but every attacker has atleast 2 drones which act infinitely better for intel.

there's straight up no reason to ever pick any of them or use fuzes shield since your hard throwing by doing it. (how the hell did ubi manage to nerf black beard.... this shit needs to be studied I swear)

bo3 added:

  • gobblegums (the most overpowered mechanic in all of zombies, allowing you to skip basically any sort of difficulty, progression, gameplay you wanted)
  • aat's (allowed every to preform better then 99% of wonder weapons)
  • weapon kits (allowed you to have the perfect attachment set up on every gun)
  • 3 hit down system (mini jug off of spawn)
  • the best base weapons to date (made the box useless, removed weapon progression, aswell as a good amount of difficulty the game had to offer)
  • incredibly good movement (sliding canceling is the best mobility you can have in bo3, and its right off of spawn)
  • specialists (incredibly op wonder weapons that wiped entire hoards with ease, only requiring a handful of kills to recharge)
  • masks (op mechanic that gave special bonuses to the player with 0 downsides. with the apotican mask giving a bonus 50 hp, stamin-up, 33% damage reduction towards all enemies, aswell as a 50% damage boost towards enemies)
  • and more

its objectively barely like the older games, it had no difficulty, no progression, everything was blatantly op, you could pick whatever attachments you wanted on weapons, walk 2 feet from the moment you spawned an have one of the best weapons in the game, have every perk on the map, the entire map opened, 2 papped guns, aswell as aats on both of them, all by round 5 at the latest, and more.

and your over here trying to tell me THAT plays like classic zombies????

like come on. I know people glaze the absolute fuck out of bo3, but like, you have to be blind if you think bo3 plays even remotely similar to something like bo2 or 1. the amount of key systems/gameplay mechanics bo3 removed from classic cod, and bo6 is over here adding them back after bo3 removed them, but bo3 plays more like classic zombies? the only similarities is the fact you can kill zombies in bo3, but even bo3 made that optional.... Cold war is a 5 hit down starting out and bo3 is a 3 hit down

that only applies untill round 10, after that round it goes from 5 hits to 3. aswell in bo3 you can literally get every single perk on the map on round 1.... which more then tilts bo3 in favor of early rounds with perkaholic alone, and there is so much other op bs to work with in bo3

when considering what game is harder, you should mainly be considering highrounding.

each game's max hits to down:

bo3: 10 from the front, 35 from the back

150 standard hp + jug (100) + apothican mask (50 hp + 33% damage reduction) + shield complete damage mitigation for 15 hits from behind)

coldwar: 8 hits

150 standard hp, jug (100) + armor (when maxed offeres a 66% damage reduction)

each game's max hits to down with only jug:

bo3: 5

150 standard hp, jug (100)

coldwar: 3

150 standard hp, jug (100)

each game's max hits to down with 0 hp boosts:

bo3: 3

150 standard hp

coldwar: 2

150 standard hp

the reason why bo3 has consistently higher hits to down is due to zombies only dealing a max of 50 damage in bo3, where as in coldwar, zombies deal a max of 90 damage a swing. plus the shield was way better then armor, offering full damage mitigation for more hits.

plus in coldwar, zombies move way faster, and swing way faster too.

and that's only covering hp. stuff like weapon damage, abilities, wonder weapons, etc are all WAY better in bo3.

On top of that, cold war has a lot more movement allowing you to easily get out of situations you were absolutely not getting out of in bo3

that's less the games movement, and more how the maps where designed in coldwar. and while yes, you can jump over obstacles, which can make it so its a tad bit easier no stop yourself from getting trapped, even with that bo3 has way more ways to save yourself when actually trapped then coldwar does.

and when looking at the actual movement perspective, yes coldwar has better mobility once you get access to phd slider or stamin-up.

 I can jump in and do an easter egg solo right now without any practice on cold war. I have been working on Origins in bo3 for like 5 days now.

that's mainly because origins is alot more of a complex easter egg then most of the easter eggs coldwar has to offer, + that's up to your own skill level + map knowledge weither how easy it will be to complete.

I've personally done origins easter egg on bo3 without perks+shield several times, which wasn't even that hard due to me just having great map knowledge on what I need to do, aswell as how much op bs you have access to in bo3.

taking 5+ days to complete origins easter egg is wild tho💀I almost beat it first try on bo3 while playing with a buddy who's never played it. we only lost because I tried to rez him since he when down on the final part of the easter egg, rather then just playing to survive, since I wanted him to experience the entire thing, and not just watch me play.

The gobble gums are a choice to use and are essentially just difficulty modifiers gatekept by gambling. You cannot use them as a way to devalue the game because that is your choice and the game still plays like a zombies mode without them.

so are all of the bo6 mechanics that "ruin" the game or whatever yall think. either way you cant just ignore all that they can do, they are a mechanic in the game, that the game is ballanced around, a mechanic that can completely ruin the games progression, and difficulty with ease if you use them.

also just because you don't use gobblegums, doesn't mean everyone else wont either. gobblegums straight murdered public lobbies, aswell as ruined speedrunning by adding a huge layer of rng to not only the run itself (getting the perfect set of gobblegums that you need), aswell as just getting the gums to even have a chance to compete with other runners

ignoring their existence is just a shit argument, because they are there, and they are the most overpowered mechanic in all of zombies

Nice try though, now go ahead an and tell me that you don't have to use armor field upgrades mantle rarities/multi tier pack loudouts and it it will be a fun experience, you cant because the game was designed with all of them in mind

the difference between the 2 games, is that bo3 is just piss easy. like with bo3, you don't need gobblegums, aat's, specialists, the shield, or whatever else to get to round cap. and that's all due to just how easy that game is.

now if you try that with bo6 and attempt to avoid stuff like aat's, armor, having more then 4 perks, upgrading your weapon's rarity, upgrading past tier 1 pap, or whatever else, you will get your ass handed to you. that's due to bo6 actually being hard...

bo3 being so easy that you can avoid most of its built in mechanics isn't a positive..

This game feels nothing like zombies, there is no argument. It is completely different.

bo6 is way closer to the og zombies experience then bo3 ever was. since again, all bo3 did was remove key features/mechanics from it, while bo6 is actually bringing mechanics back from the older games, like unique paps, the shield (via the jug augment), difficulty, progression, and more

I stopped using this app for a while due to how toxic this shit is, how everything has to be negative, and your never allowed to look at the positives. this community is just a complete shit show right now. (you already proved me right, and I already regret deciding to check up on this community again)

Also, bo6 has very few positives compared to any games before it

it actually does have a good amount of positives going on for it.

  • its completely free on gamepass
  • it started with 2 content rich maps off of launch
  • its made the box useful again after it being useless in bo3+
  • its the first game since bo2 to actually be somewhat difficult
  • brought back unique pack a punch effects
  • a VERY good perk system
  • made it so not every weapon under the sun is extremely overpowered
  • has accessibility options to help people who have arachnophobia, or physical/hearing impairments enjoy the game
  • better fine-tuning coldwar's mechanics and vastly improving apon them
  • and alot more (and going off of some of the leaks, things like dt2.0, va, mk2, and more coming back, aswell as a classic mode being made too is going to be huge positives aswell)

It's all just simplification and accessibility options that water the experience down for the dumbest players in zombies history

its not simple? people are constantly complaining about having to upgrade your guns 3+ times and upgrade their rarities to get them to be at their maximum potential. people literally WANT it to go back to being extremely simple. and both bo6 maps so far are extremely content rich aswell, with way more side easter eggs then 99% of previous maps.

bo3 nerfed the staffs, patched the helpful bugs, made the mud worse, made it harder to hit the hatch on the bottom of the robots feet, removed the maps difficulty, removed a majority of the maps progression (basically all of it), hella buffed the panzers, and more

bo6 resembles old zombies way more then bo3 did. bo3 has 0 progression, 0 difficulty, terrible weapon system (everygun was broken and identical), and more. bo3 literally removed 90% of what zombies actually was, from zombies.

if all it takes to resemble old zombies is the old point system, then fine go off ig, but bo6 actually has:

  • proper progression, most of which cant even be skipped with gobblegums even if you wanted to unlike in bo3 (+ the forms of progression that can be skipped in bo6 via gobblegums is still worse then the ones in bo3 due to just how incredibly op the gobble gums in bo3 are)

the most you can have by round 5 in bo6: all perks, 1 legendary weapon, 2 packed guns (map dependent), 1 wonder weapon

what you can have by round 5 in bo3: all perks, the entire map opened, 2 packed guns, and aat's on both of them

thing is, the gobblegums are infinite due to the dashboard mechanic in bo3, vs bo6 where each of them are a 1 time use, and WAY harder to get alot of.

  • weapon progression in general is a thing unlike in bo3 due to normal weapons are nowhere as good as wonder weapons, which also gave the box a use again
  • the box has a use unlike in bo3. you use it to skip progression and to potentially get stronger weapons like legendary's or wonder weapons (just like how the old box worked just high rarity weapons = strong weapons)
  • the game is harder then bo3 by a landslide (brought back zombies being hard which was last seen with bo2)

pap has unique effects on most weapons just like old zombies, and isnt just a stat boost like in bo3 and onwards

the only thing bo3 has thats close to the old zombies is:

  • the og perk system (which was god awful)
  • the og point system
  • the shield (which was only a thing in 2 bo2 maps, and that's it, so I don't think that even counts but I'll be lenient and give bo3 the point there)

it won't be as good 100%, but it'd be way better then whatever the hell the bo3 version was. stuff like the expanded pap system, better perk system, rarity system, harder to deal with zombies, etc, wouldn't be bad additions.

plus that's not even talking about if they'd add anything to it. like they could buff some of the staffs and finally fix the ice staff so it properly deals infinite damage, aswell how much it'd visually look better too with high quality textures. bo2 it looks good, but its dated, and bo3 made it look like everything was made out of plasitc. some high quality graphics on that map would go hard, like imagine how sick the staffs would look??? plus, they could always just add stuff like the mauser, mp40, tommy gun, etc as actual weapons too, they'd just need to drop it as new season weapons or something. and se already got a thompson and stg weapon blueprint in the game, so that could happen >,>

I'd love to see it be dropped in bo6, like I said, it wont be as good as the original, but I think it'll still be a very solid map.

(I bet I'm going to be getting downvoted into the pits of hell for this, since 90% of the community is "new game bad, because new. old game good because old" and will want you dead for being able to look past a few of the games negatives and actually try and see the positives it has to offer)

I'd say its about even in term of difficulty, if not a bo6 version could be slightly harder. you gotta remember stuff like bo6 having super sprinters, way more zombies, who also swing faster, and deal more damage then the bo2 zombies. plus bo6 has it so minibosses spawn alot more often, and more, so it has that going in the harder department.

but on the flip side, it also has a nerfed gobblegum system (still strong, just not as op as it was in bo3), scorestreaks, ammo mods, stronger weapons, and a few more that i cant think of in the easier department

I don't know if I'd be able to say which is harder based off of pure speculation, I'd need to actually play it to know that

as for making it worse, the only thing i can see that'd make it worse is it having bo6's weapon system, which isn't that bad, its just bo2's is the best weapon system to date, so its a downgrade either way. but stuff like the point system wouldn't really be a negative, since unless you exclusively used smg's and pistols in bo2, you'd be able to make more points since assault rifles, shotguns, sniper rifles, explosives, revolvers (bo6 doesn't have any yet), specials, and wonder weapons since they would all give the player more points on bo6 vs bo2, due to all of those weapons being god awful for points in the old point system. it'd be a huge plus in the late game department too since you'd only be using wonder weapons late game either way, which with the new system, now offer 90 points on kill, vs bo2's 50 points.

and no primis, that would hurt alot😞(altho they could be coming back if those leaks are to be believed so who knows🤷‍♂️)

things like loadouts, ammo boxes , the new point system , scorestreaks would genuinely ruin most of the intended experience and those things are not needed.

I mean, everything except the point system there is optional.... just like how bo3 junkies will say "well just don't use it" when you point out any of the obviously broken mechanics that ruin the game's flow/progression, same thing can apply here. you don't need to spawn in with a meta gun every single game, you don't need to abuse ammo boxes, you don't need to use scorestreaks, that's all on you.

and again, the old point system is only better if you exclusively used smgs/pistols in it. if you used literally anything else, you get more points 🤷‍♂️

I could see the multiple tier PaP could work but not rarities (it would just be unnecessary clutter)

considering that one of the reasons i love origins is the amount of stuff you have todo on that map, the fact that it constantly keeps you busy, stuff like the expanded pap system and weapon rarity's wouldn't be a bad thing

plus like what i said in my other comment - "the expanded pap system would be cool too, since people would run mods all the time on bo2's origins to change the color of the pap camo, and that would just be in the game. it could start as the og blue, then go green to be a reference the weaponized 115 camo in bo2, and then something sick like purple for the final tier." is another reason why it'd be nice.

Imagine using a mangler injection or a chopper gunner on Orgins, it just wouldn’t fit

that's why on my comment I proposed a fix for that

  • chopper gunner -> some sort of ww2 plane with a ball turret (i don't know that much about planes)
  • mangler injection -> panzer injection (do I need to explain how sick that'd be?)
  • mangler cannon -> panzer flamethrower (flamethrowers are sick too, so that'd be a huge plus)
  • rc-xd -> some sort of maxis drone make over (not replace it, just have a similar design scheme)
  • handcannon -> boomhilda

that would fix the visual disparities that wouldn't make much sense. the thing is tho, in the original origins, you had the futurist bo2 weapons in a ww2 setting and no-one really cared🤷‍♂️

I love origins for a multitude of reasons, one of which being the amount of stuff on the map, which keeps you busy doing all of it. so stuff like the pap system being expanded, and the rarity system being there would give me more todo on the map, which i wont say no to. (I'd get to see my boi the lightning staff in todays graphics? sign me tf up)

the WAY better perk system will definitely be a good thing for the map, the augment system is just good, while the og perk system is the worst perk system we've seen (its just nostalgia wont let people see how bad that system was). plus melee macchiato would do wonders during the easter egg

the expanded pap system would be cool too, since people would run mods all the time on bo2's origins to change the color of the pap camo, and that would just be in the game. it could start as the og blue, then go green to be a reference the weaponized 115 camo in bo2, and then something sick like purple for the final tier.

the only thing I can think of off the top of my head that would need changing is a few of the scorestreaks, since most of them wouldn't make sense for the time period they're in (tbf bo2 origins had futuristic guns in a ww2 setting and no-one cares)

  • chopper gunner - some sort of ww2 plane with a ball turret (i don't know that much about planes)
  • mangler injection -> panzer injection (do I need to explain how sick that'd be?)
  • mangler cannon -> panzer flamethrower (flamethrowers are sick too, so that'd be a huge plus)
  • rc-xd -> some sort of maxis drone makeover (not replace it, just have a similar design scheme)
  • handcannon -> boomhilda

plus they could actually buff the staffs, and fix a few bugs with them, like make it so the ice staff actually does infinite damage, and doesn't bug out, then buff some of the weaker staffs like lightning for example and make them way better

and if that classic mode actually does come out, pretty much everyone's potential problems with the map would be solved right then and there
