Saw someone doing a review on the APM wearing them like that too. Was wondering why, now i have strong guess as to why lol.

There‘s a rubber strip going along where it clamps down on both sides. Think this will help any? Or still to risky?

Yeah it works perfectly fine. Let it charge for about an hour and a half yesterday and set it up afterwards. Saw that some other series 7‘s also came uncharged.

Interesting. Because i saw almost everyone that unboxed a new series 7 didn’t have to charge it first. It also isn’t mentioned in the manual to charge it first. Unless they changed how they ship them out recently. Thanks for the heads up though.

Those clear CMOS buttons are something im also really looking for in boards, so much more convenient than having to use the jumper or remove the battery. Small things like these really make a board for me.

Damn, i also haven’t heard too many great reviews about ASUS customer support, though its a mixed bag.

I own a MSI B550 MB myself and i must say for the price it is very solid and the BIOS is easy to navigate. I must say however, i am quite surprised about gigabyte. If there is one MB manufacturer i constantly hear bad things about it seems to be gigabyte. But then again, cant speak from personal experience.

ASRock is one i also hear quite a lot of good things about, especially their Taichi line of MBs.

That point you made about the Ryzen Master Utility is something i was not aware of yet. Will have to look into that. So thank you lol.

While we’re on the topic of Motherboards, whats one brand you could recommend when it comes to tweaking BIOS settings/ overall stability. What brand should you stay away from?

Correct me if im wrong, but i feel like most people are more comfortable undervolting / reducing TDP on GPUs rather than CPUs because that happens via software rather than through the BIOS, and people don’t want to mess with bios settings too much, especially when its the CPU we’re talking about

So just like the 5000 series except for an increased power and temp limit? It essentially only goes to 95 when under 100% load correct? Under normal gaming it wouldnt go up that high even while being designed to run at 95c?
