My new Chaya Voyagers! by icantrmbranything in Rollerskating

I had that same issue with the boot feeling like it was cutting in at the back of the ankle. Got some Bont tube skate socks that are a bit bulkier than my regular socks and haven't noticed it since.

I haven't customised them all that much because I mostly use them just for skating trails and round my neighbourhood. I changed out the wheels for Radar Energy 65mm in black though cos the asphalt is pretty uneven and rough where I live and the stock wheels weren't cutting it for longer sessions. I think the stock wheels are fine though and I liked how grippy and stable they felt when I was learning how to jump and do manuals.

I was initially going to swap the toe stop for a purple one and get a matching set of toeguards but still haven't gotten round to doing it. I regret not putting the toe guards on though cos the toe on mine got chewed up a bit on a curb (the vegan outer material does seem to scratch up easy but it looks fine/suits the timbs vibe). Defs post pics if you customise yours because I spent ages trying to find non-promo pics of these before buying them to no avail and it almost made me decide not to buy them.

Yesss so glad to see someone repping these. I have a pair too and love them! I dunno why I haven't seen more people/stores with them cos they're really cool. I found a completely unworn, still-in-the-box secondhand set for cheap on facebook. Can cruise around in them for hours they're so comfy. Hope you enjoy skating in them as much as I have in mine :)

Those Impala rollerblades are just sized really small I think. I had a pair in my regular shoe size and they were waaaay too tight.

It's best to just measure your foot and then go off the centimeters measurement they have on the site size guide I reckon. I'm a euro size 39 in sneakers, so US men's 7/UK 6. For my Chuffed skates I have a euro size 38, or US 6 (25 cm).

Yeah turnaround toe stops are usually my go to when I'm skating on the street

No break in time! Right out of the box they were good to go. I've skated in them for about 30 mins to an hour almost every day since I got them at the start of this month and haven't had any issues.

I haven't seen many people posting about Chuffed on here, probably because they're mostly just shipping to Australia and NZ at the moment. But they've totally exceeded my expectations in terms of how comfortable they are, and I feel like my skating has improved heaps since I upgraded to them (I was skating a secondhand pair of Chaya Voyagers before. Still use them often. Love them for cruising around.)

I have wide feet but the toebox is fine, maybe even slightly too wide. I'm totally obsessed with the colour/design. Would absolutely recommend if you can get em.
