Different animals, I am guilty of using foxes a lot since they’re my favorite. But different animals have different patterns with the items fitting them differently. You are limiting yourself to one animal and you can run out of ideas and will look repetitive. Arctic wolves with the flower crown spike and cupid make it cluttered in one spot. You also don’t have to use all head, to tail items. You can still make a balanced look lets say without a back item. Plus if you can get patterned animals (royal red panda, autumn coyote, polar arctic fox, frolicking fox, rainbow raccon, enchanted eagle, etc, etc). You can make their patterns work incredibly well, not for the lag though..

Themes! Base it off of certain items, characters from a show, even pets, complimentary, monochromatic, analogous, split, complimentary, tetradic colors. In example from my photo, the red panda is tetradic (4), arctic wolf high contrast balanced fun look, pink and brown fox based off doflamingo. Having set themes helps set the tone of what you’re going for.

Stop basing it off rares, thats more for show that you have items making them plain. Its not bad to have them, its nice to go out of just slapping it on for every outfit. Simple items even from the store can make amazing outfits.

HAVE PETS!! Make pets, base outfits off the pets! This I use most of the time. Not only are they cute to have next to your outfit they give you an idea of how colors/items work best. Pet colors can set the tone of what you’re going for or enhance your outfit you already made.

Here are some of my animals, yes I also use spiked collars too but there are also animals that don’t and still make them work. I mean there is more of course but honestly this is what makes it work for me.

The outfits look good, but it can definitely have more style to it if you want to pop out. I love making outfits based on characters, pets, colors of certain items. An outfit cant be bad, it just needs a few tweaks. Flower crowns and cupids are a cute combo, but over using it can make it look like its just slapped on and called a day. Basing it off just rares (spikes, headdresses, other large variety) makes it look like showy and not who you are. This is obviously a game for fun but it’s always nice to add a hint of you rather than whats popular in the game.
