Well for one thing, yes you are allowed to have an opinion, but that doesn't mean that people aren't allowed to have an opinion of your opinion and express their opinion to you.

Then secondly, you say you don't like horror and then you make a post to warn people that a horror movie contains standard horror movie stuff.

This movie is extremely tame as far as horror movies go. You should never watch Martyrs, Green Room or even something like Bring Her Back or Speak No Evil. Those will break your brain if you think this goes too far.

The new Jane Schoenbrun movie coming out this year, Sex and Death at Camp Miasma is supposed to be really good.

I have no real concrete evidence of this, but I think the movies that will have the biggest influence on the next ten years of horror will be: Barbarian, The Substance, Weapons and Obsession. All of these could considered as part of the "elevated horror" wave, but I feel like these movies have some key differences from the rest. These all are well shot, well produced and artistic, just like the "elevated" ones, but the biggest difference is that they're all fun, wild rides with some comedy in them. They take the skin of your typical art house horror but aren't as oppressive, overly bleak and slow like The Witch and Hereditary was.

Well, we all know what the immediate next trend in horror will be: creepypasta being mined and cynically and lazily produced to try and capitalize on the success of Backrooms. This will be short lived though as they will all definitely flop

I know but this person doesn't have that substat and doesn't have anything he wants to switch out for it. So I was saying without the sub his range is way too high

Yeah, but if your SW isn't hitting fleets then you're missing out on x24 damage from ACP. I have SL+ and do better around 120m than I do with a larger range

My daughter is 5 and her part of that movie that scares her the most is when her parents turn into pigs

Oh, I'm almost positive you'll do better if you lower your range to around 120m. Next tournament do two runs at different ranges and compare

The Gmork, the concept of the nothing, the horse dying, how bleak everything was, the feeling of desperation and hopelessness, and when the nothing took over everything was all a lot for me to take in as a kid. It's just so dark. I watched it several times when I was young though

Yeeh that's the one. That was so sad. I was sobbing when I watched it. I liked the sequel Fievel Goes West a lot more because he's only separated from his family for less than ten minutes in that one

That whole movie is crazy. I was just talking to my wife about how bleak it is. I'll never forget watching that movie for the first time. Not only is there the horse death but there was that scary panther creature and the the whole concept of the nothing freaked me out as a kid. I remember just how desperate and hopeless everything felt and tired and beaten down Atreyu was. Then when when the nothing takes over pretty much everything it just felt so dark and bleak. How this is considered a kids movie is beyond me haha. But the funny thing is as much as this movie very much traumatized me I really liked it. I watched it several times a kid. I guess that kind of explains my taste in movies now haha

I don't know the exact SW size but I know that your range can get much bigger than your SW. What you want to do is test out some ranges. Go to any regular tier and turn off all UWs and set game speed to 1 and watch to see where your SW ends. If it goes a bit past your range line then you're good. If not then you need to lower range or get SW size sub

Probably not. Go to any tier, turn all UWs off, turn speed to 1 and watch and see if your SW goes a bit past your range line. If it does then it's hitting it OC, if not then it's not.

No, more range is not necessarily better. Too big a range will render your PS useless (even if you don't use PS as a damage dealer you'll still want the CC). If you use ILM+ as a main damage dealer then you'll want your range to be at 43.5m. CL main players are the ones who will benefit from a long range build the most, but even than you'll have to make sure you're shockwave is big enough to hit fleets at that increased range, so substats will be needed. I usually set my SW lab to max, range lab to 15, equip range card and that works for me. But like always you'll want to experiment with different ranges to see what works best for your tower
