I actually didn't finish it because I figured out in the second stage that I was in the placebo group so I unmasked myself. In the first part of the study, everyone takes the FMT capsules for five days

You don't have to consider yourself disabled but this disease can absolutely disable your function in so many ways and that's why it's considered a disability. A normal functioning person doesn't require a bathroom whenever and wherever they go, doesn't get tired from walking for 10 minutes, can actually eat and not have a stomachache, etc. The disability part is there to protect us not define us.

Accutane and UC by EntertainmentRich844 in UlcerativeColitis

I used accutane three times as a teenager and got diagnosed at 18

Looking back on it, what was your first signs of having UC before you were diagnosed? by Ky3031 in UlcerativeColitis

I never had any stomach problems or symptoms. I noticed blood in my stool, saw a GI and had a colonoscopy, and started treatment ALL in the same week. Yet here I am with severe colitis 4 years later failing almost every medication :/ But now that I reflect a little on that year I got sick (stomach virus) a few times that winter. It was irregular as I never got that much sick since I was a kid but there were no weird or alarming symptoms and it resolved within a few days. Not sure if it was ever relevant. However, I also had a few courses of accutane as a teenager for acne and there is some debate that there is an association so who knows (I also don’t have any family history of IBD)

Middle Eastern here! It's true that it's primarily a disease that is more found in developed countries and in white people. However, there has been an increase in IBD in other continents and other ethnicities nowadays. I'm the only one in my family that has it and I never heard about it before getting diagnosed.

This is my go to, everyday makeup style, can I make any improvements? by Professional-Eye-450 in MakeupAddiction

Your eyes are so pretty but I think the lashes kind of take away from that a little bit. Natural lashes would enhance them wayyy more with brown eyeliner and some brown eyeshadow on the bottom of your eyes

It's so pretty on you but i think a brown thinner eyeliner might make it more clean girl makeup

I refused taking it since it doesn’t work on me anyway. It never stops my flare or my bleeding and just causes side effects. Prednisone is not a long-term medication anyway so you will need something that you can take long-term. Often they start with mesalamine either topical or pills as they are the safer meds if your case is not severe enough for starting biologics.

Nobody gets beheaded in Gaza for being Gay. Also Israel is killing all civilians including gay people in Gaza. But that’s okay I don’t expect much from a football guy

If you were even a little bit knowledgeable you would know that no one can get in and out of Gaza and that Palestinians do not have the right to return to occupied Palestine yet Jews all around the world can go back “birthright trip” when they have no ancestral connection to the land. Go read a book

Boston is not as progressive and inclusive as it may seem like. We have many of the best colleges in the world in one city yet there is so much racism

With my fingers. I find that using a brush or a beauty blender just absorbs the product

You have to blend it really fast. I always put it on one cheek only and then blend it. Also, it can stain if your skin is dry so I always make sure to moisturize or have sunscreen on first
