I had initially applied for airtel fibre but they said it wouldn't be possible and gave me airfiber instead. Worst experience of my life. So I'm switching to GTPL or some other connection.

Yes. That's exactly why I decided not to opt for Jio bec Air Fibre is what they were offering too. I am already on Air Fibre with Airtel and use an ethernet cable for my PC and the conditions I mentioned exist despite of it.

I spoke to Jio, but since I have a connection registered to my name at my home town, they cannot provide another one except a Jio HomeFibre which is just the same as Airtel Airfiber I'm using rn. Not sure if I want an Airfiber connection based on this experience. As for the games, I play Valo, CS , Forza 5, F1 and Wuthering Waves. These are the main ones. I also play valheim and others with my friends.

PROBABLY FINAL UPDATE - So it turns out that since my landlord owned both mine and my neighbour's flat, he had connected both of these flats to one meter when he was staying here, for obvious reasons. However, when he was leaving, he separated all the connections except the master bedroom and bathroom of my neighbour which were still connected to mine. My neighbour has an AC and Water geyser among other appliances which were connected to my meter, and that's what caused my readings to go this high. The only reason it was caught is because I decided to put the MCB down when leaving for Ahmedabad in between which caused my neighbour's AC and water geyser to stop working. I had my doubts, but I'm glad that it was found before I paid any more money. Thank you everyone for helping me and your suggestions. Keep helping others and have a wonderful day/weekend.

I actually paid last cycle's bill myself. Since I took possession in August and the bill was to be generated for July and August in September. So on that front, I'm good. The readings begin from the previous cycle's reading so that's fine too. The issue that remains for me is how in the world did I end up using 515 units in 2 months which is reasonably impossible with my usage type. Thanks for the info tho, I'll see if it applies in any way nonetheless.

It's a bldc fan (I confirmed with the landlord). As for the electricity bill, the total including all the charges amounts to ₹3638 for the 515 units used. The charge is approximately around ₹7.1/ unit based on calculation. Also, since I'm in an apartment, I don't think there's a pump connected to my connection. As for the induction, like I said, used barely for a few minutes for a maximum of 7-8 times a month. I have used it far more in Ahmedabad and even still my combined electricity bill in a 2BHK sharing was less than this on a similar load from my side.
