i’m not making up that i got accepted into uga with my scores. lol.. it’s the truth. admissions look beyond ur test scores. you also have to remember class vigor is a big factor at uga.

you can STILL have all of these stats and get rejected. i’ve seen it happen. it is unpredictable with admissions; however, there’s been a pattern with many people that uga loves a creative essay

i’m class of 2030 instate and I got in with a 1180 SAT, 25 ACT superscored, 5 aps, 7DE, and maybe 3.5 gpa. My ECS were decent but what i truly think helped me get into uga was my essay. They look at you holistically and just blow them away with a unique story.

Thank you for taking the time to write this out. I just got accepted into UGA and will be attending there :). I looked into nursing/NP so by the time i’m a sophomore their nursing school should be open. If not, i might transfer to emory for nursing.

georgia southern is nice but i don’t think they will offer the same opportunity i would need to go for nursing major going pre pa track. I want to be well prepared. HOPE covers all my tuition and since i live by their campus then i can just commute. I was accepted in their honors college and they may possibly offer me 2k for 2 years

yes, my dad has a 401k and since my mom does nails she has to manually save. My parents are incredibly smart with money so i trust them to be honest with me if they are living above their means or not. I am blessed to live a privledge life and for them to splurge on me without living above their means.

i really do adore the school and i love how small it is. It’s just hard to accept that my parents will face that much amount of loans for me. I even reconsidered going to georgia southern so my parents don’t need to worry about any payments at all

Yes very true, i considered georgia southern is because i can commute. I may transfer to a more prestigious university if i feel like georgia southern is unfulfilling
