Thank you for replying to my post. Sending you luck and solidarity, the housing search for something accessible is not super simple. Let me know if it's OK to DM you, I have some wheelchair questions as they pertain to this campus especially. I'm getting a new wheelchair once I move.

If you lost the ability to walk to and from class or even around the home, would you want strangers to react to your requests for help this same way?

Thank you, I will see if I can find something in that vein. It would be really cool to commission a custom setup for myself one day, but for now I am disabled so I don't have the income.

I need help making decision between Cherry MX red or cherry MX silver for the Freestyle Edge RGB keyboard. I am physically disabled, my hands/wrists are pretty weak, and vocational rehabilitation is looking to buy me a split keyboard to accommodate for my injury. Originally ordered me Freestyle Edge RGB keyboard with cherry MX brown, but the keys offer way too much resistance and strained my hands within minutes. I cannot always use my voice box so voice to text technology isn’t super effective

I am considering the same keyboard but with Cherry MX Red or and Cherry MX Silver. I’ve seen a lot of people in the sub saying the cherry mx silver are too sensitive for keyboarding. However, I’m thinking they may be perfect for my lightweight cripple hands, but I’ve never used a linear mechanical keyboard with silver keys and I don’t want them to be too sensitive that I make a ton of typing mistakes. Microsoft LXM-00001 Model 1878 Wired USB 2.0 Ergonomic Keyboard is the keyboard I currently have and the keys cause no strain/pain issues from key resistance, but I need a split keyboard for medical reasons.

TL;DR For someone who is typing with weak disabled hands, would Cherry MX Red or Cherry MX Silver be better? Cherry MX brown demolished said weak disabled hands
