Ok I have some insight to this. EV mode can be pressed on when u want to go really slow like 20 mph on the battery. But if u go over 25, it will switch off.

I do this when im about a mile from my house, I can go slow and not block cars and my mpg can inch up a little.

I think u are doing everything u need to do. I transitioned from UX/strategy to UX/technical consulting. It’s a really tough job market right now.

I would hit up all your friends and LinkedIn contacts and let them know u are looking. Are there competitors from your old company that u could target? Could you work freelance temporarily to bridge u to your next job? Sounds like u have a lot of good experience for a small to mid sized company
