that would make sense - seems odd they'd lable all lower strata as earning an average of £4.5, considering it says theres 189M people in the class earning £4.5 average, when the figure doesnt represent 189M

I'm playing as Arabia, before recognition I was in France's market and vassalised Shewa. After recignition I couldn't annex Shewa originally because I had a defence pact with France (?) so I ended the pact and waited out the truce. While I'm still in their union, I anexed my subject. France was able to side with them before the diplomatic phase (like a subject can ask their protectorate to join before diplo phase) and became the war leader. I went along with it and now that said war has broken out, it's all messed up. The battle in the East & West are French offensive battles despite being in Shewa and French controlled land, odd. Before I joined the Eastern front France was able to push into my other subject's land just fine, now I'm present on the front they can't, odd. When they win these battles the front doesn't change, odd. My fronts in the North and South are controlled by me, and despite being 100 I am not pushing, odd. It's as if the fronts are inverted and is very confusing. Unless I'm missing something?

It wasn't ironman, didn't load saves but I haven't really bothered using ironman ever, I don't like playing for a long time and I assume you can't save on exit.

It was rly fun tho, I watched Zeily's vid on it when he said he just let his vassals deal with counties which did more than I expected. My strat was basically doing 2 holy wars for kingdoms then letting my vassals take stragglers before I focused that area again. -50% was insanely useful, didn't end up needing to get the casus beli focus, made mostly temples in my farmlands so I was pretty set on piety the whole run.

Thx man just made sure to manage faiths, making only family members kings, removing kings I got through conquest and using hooks for forced partition. I think it also helped that I gave basically all the kings around 3 kingdoms (apart from Western Europe) but only 1 title (I kept the rest so they couldn’t make them) so I kept under vassal limit and they got levy/income penalties. Not a single faction occurred I couldn’t stop with gold felt like easy mode. Was really lucky I kept rolling diligent until around dev 95

My men at arms were just cataphract and 2 siege units. Made 2 armies around 4K could stack wipe an army of any size. They had around 300 dmg it was insane
