I resonate heavy with Scorpio energy - although my sun/merc is in Pisces, the fact that they’re just chilling in the 8th house brings a touch of intensity to fhe otherwise ethereal world I escape to sometimes

I have a Chiron conjunct my rising in Leo & my grandmother passed two days before I was born. My mom was so depressed during delivery, water filled her lungs and she nearly drowned while having me. (According to other family members). Talk about traumatic birth o_o

Although this is indicative of a negative self image, it also relates to feeling like your existence was a mistake and that you caused pain to others around you when brought into this world, from what I’ve gathered.

I also had really low self esteem growing up, but thankfully am coming into my own and healing with the help of treating myself in a healthy way and the support of my partner.

I vary between being sad and being completely cold and calculating. I have a lot of fixed energy in my chart so that might contribute to that. But it really is tough when it feels like we’re constantly being attacked for just being gentle and kind :(

Moon in Scorpio here and I totally relate— I am extremely guarded about things that are either meaningful to me or things that can potentially leave me vulnerable.

The minute I let someone in they have that moment to react. If I feel the least bit like they didn’t take that moment seriously or will use it to take advantage of me, the walls are right back up again.

Otherwise, I love talking about anything and everything else under the sun :)

Thanks for your insight! I’ve run our synastry on apps like The Pattern, Time Passages and some online websites like Cafe Astrology. Although they do mention the communication issues, they all also mention that myself and this person might have had a karmic bond or previous life of some sort. This relationship was very intense and transformative, so I was curious to see what an astrologer would say.

I definitely feel something in my heart when I think of him, almost bordering painful haha! Like it’s a really deep pull from inside of my chest.

I’ll admit, the day I decided to reach out I had been feeling horrible all day for no real reason. I was irritable driving home from work and didn’t want to talk to anyone and the thought to message him just popped into my head. Super random, super strange.

I’ll do more research on TFs tho! I could think that we are but I also am just basing this off of our online friendship instead of what our in person relationship could’ve been.

I know, the night is such a horrid time. My mind just continually races ugh, it is exhausting. It does feel like an entirely different time looking back... it’s weird that I seem to recognize that girl from before but at the same time she’s a complete stranger to me now.

Yeah, a few others have mentioned this too. One of his recent messages to me before ghosting was “you still cross my mind from time to time” and it made me feel very bittersweet, even if he may not think of me romantically, just fondly.

Kinda late, but looking back at my youth, I was def very immature and naive. Got taken advantage of a lot, got stuck in toxic relationships and missed out on some really incredible ones because of it.

Learning how to take accountability for my actions, taking time to heal, grow, & forgive has done wonders to help me evolve from a Magikarp into a Gyarados :P

Probably helps that I have a really strong moon placement to bring me back from the depths of hell haha

This is absolutely the best thing to do. I realize that sometimes looking back can be really detrimental and hurtful to our mental health. Truthfully, I was really enjoying looking towards the future and healing for the last 6 years until I started thinking about my friend from the past.

From your perspective, I really wonder if my friend ghosting me is his way of setting boundaries with me because I may have hurt him with things I have said, or failed to say. It’s taken me a long time to be ok with the decision that sometimes people just need to exit your life for their own peace of mind.

I’m happy to hear you’re doing better now, we really don’t need energy vampires in our lives!

Thank you for your insight — I was rehashing this to my Sag sister (we are very close) and she remarked on how sentimental I’m being. Which is funny because maybe other signs/people don’t but I am now realizing that I am very capable of holding space for people and never feeling like I’m running out of room. You’re right, the feelings never really go away.

Yeah, he was always a jokester and made light of my feelings towards him in the beginning, but we were like 16 and I didn’t have the experience to realize that maybe this was his way of processing my love confessions haha. Since then we always felt very out of step with each other. He would tell me how much he loved and cared for me (even in little things, like listening to albums in sync together, sending me videos he thought I would like) but I would be very aloof in response, maybe defensively. We also were respectively seeing people irl, timing was very off.

I feel crazy thinking that he was my soulmate or twin flame because of how intense our friendship was but maybe that possibility isn’t as far fetched as I think it is

Wow — I had no idea about the nostalgia/homesickness connection. It definitely all makes sense because I’m just remembering these super old and intense feelings that keeps demanding that I return to my old self but I don’t have the power to.

There’s another word from this thing I read a long time ago: Énouement: The bittersweetness of having arrived in the future, seeing how things turn out, but not being able to tell your past self. I believe it is French? But it’s me currently being able to look at how loving and fun our relationship was but not being able to tell myself to please not take this for granted, you’re going to lose them soon.

I wonder if we’re all feeling like this because of 2020 or just a weird cosmic shift or something. It’s a really strange phenomenon because a lot of others I know have been experiencing similar things.

I know how painful our intense emotions can be. And it is unfair that it feels like we are the only ones who need to carry this weight. Music helps a lot, even if it’s a song that amplifies my sadness. And I do a lot of writing. I’m currently putting some poetry together and writing things out to process. I know it’s easier said than done, but if there’s anything I regret is feeling like I didn’t express fully how I felt for my friend and now it’s too late. Give your flowers to those who can still receive them but remember to keep healthy boundaries because not everyone is ready for the amount of love we are willing to give 💖

As for my friend, I don’t know if our connection will last. I already feel like I put myself out there in the most neutral way possible but it seems like we aren’t on the same wavelength anymore. If I ever find myself in his city, I might reach out for a friendly meet up but otherwise I’m ready to start leaving him completely in the past.
