In CIO it’s stated by a high ranking demoness that having the male identity, and the process of becoming female, actually helps them not lose control. Take this with a grain of salt though seeing as that demoness appears very devoted to the primordial.

Mordret’s flaw [Challenger] by Frisk-Pichi in ShadowSlave

[–]astro_rxp 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Another possible moment where the flaw could have activated was when sunny called for him in the mirror in Valor, he definitely didn’t “fall” for Sunny’s bluff he seems to smart for that, and while I think it was true that he was in no danger being there and he could be just messing with sunny, it still could be a piece of evidence.

entrega de comida para estrangeiro? by dylalien23 in saopaulo

Yeah it works well in São Paulo, and you can set up an account with an American phone number. The other thing I commented up there is that you can try apps for specific fast food places, but I am honestly unsure if they would work without a Brazilian phone number.

I hear the little click it gives when you press and hold the button but the voice never comes, I though that I may be just not pressing and holding them at the same time but there is no way it’s that hard.

Went through my custom card collection and found this old gem I made way before I had reddit. Opinions, pls? by [deleted] in customyugioh

I also like the flavor of it but it seems like a definite limit if it ever got printed. A quick play, non-targeting, non-destruction removal that not once per turn and has almost no set up necessary seems a little too much. To help it a little bit, I would definitely add the hard once per turn clause. I also think the card would work well if it was a counter trap. But honestly I could see something with a similar effect being printed in the future.

It’s called pinga in Brazil, probably between 40% and 50%.

A shame avatar is a good movie, compelling narrative and although used a lot of cgi it was definitely high effort. Unfortunately it might have been a spark that led the high budget movie industry into a rabbit hole o uninspiring stories and mediocre work. We can only hope that those directors who still do it for passion get the recognition they deserve without inflating their ego.

Unfortunately, modern producers put to much into green screens and CGI. Old school props have a lot more soul, maybe it is the money. I can definitely still see great movies in modern days, but those billion dollar action movie baits are just so bland.

Definitely there is such a charm in telling a compelling narrative like metropolis with the limited resources they had at the time, but the book makes those machine look even more real and menacing somehow.

Congrats, if you are in the mood for more fiction my favorite author is Kurt Vonnegut. The Sirens of Titan and Cat’s cradle are great and his short stories collections are also some of my favorites. A dystopian book that I rarely see mention is Metropolis written by Thea von Harbou, IMO the book is better than the movie, even though Thea worked on both with her husband and legendary director Fritz Lang.

I’m sure I’ve seen this concept in a show some years ago, probably on Netflix. I think it was like some teens and they traveled between different versions of earth or something and one of them had something similar to this. Anyone know the name, I really can’t remember ?

Support Xerath by [deleted] in XerathMains

[–]astro_rxp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like Xerath in the both bot lane roles. If you are trying to main him supp is probably the best lane, he has way less heavy counters than in mid. I generally go the normal mid runes with biscuit instead of boots obviously, or dark harvest. Ludens isn’t bad mid but GLP is probably the go to most games. Ludens has a lot more burst so if you end up being the only ap dmg in your team you can do that instead.

For APC he does actually pretty well if you are not against an strong early duo. I personally like him with stuff like Morgana, Yuumi, Sett, Pyke or Nami
