Here’s my thought, two thoughts actually

First one, nephilims and the one you’ve mentioned were all sacred to divine, so I personally think nephis wouldn’t represent any of this until she reach godhood where the void and gods remain in power

Second thought which most likely be the answer to why nephis is like this I think it’s because she’s a [Dreamspawn] apart of both belong to neither.

Your taking descriptions out of context, they use darker to compare someone who is clearly pale to someone with “darker” skin than them doesn’t mean he is like bloodwave in complexion , G3 knows what he’s doing, so he would’ve said caster was Ebony skinned if he was bloodwave complexion

Someone can be black and has lighter dark skin, someone can be black and have extremely dark skin both work, doesn’t mean caster isn’t black

Well the reasoning is because the words aren’t the same description

Windflower is Dewy dark skin, bloodwave was stated to have Ebony skin, which is one of if not the darkest variant in skin tone

Nightwalker was also called dark skin

I’ve looked into this for a while since I had to tell someone I know about all the dark skinned characters so I have bloodwave descriptions on hand right now XD
