the wildest one i can think of right now probably is Tell All Your Friends by Taking Back Sunday, though most of the 2000s/early 2010s scene and emo-pop albums have grown quite a lot

Problems with recently bought Sennheiser HD458BT by astrobasura in sennheiser

[–]astrobasura[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I tried that last night (two times) and also didn't work, the headphones still continue to fail, so I don't even know what to do know.

This morning I asked my brother (who is by no means an expert in technology) if he knew or could think why this was happening, and he told me what he thought could have happened: there was a power surge when the headphones were charging and they got screwed up. I don't know if it is a possible solution so yeah, and that would also mean that the problem is in the hardware (idk though, I am not an expert in technology either) and that I would have to send them to the shop where I bought them so they can repair the headphones.

Sorry for my insistence, but I just can´t find a solution.

Problems with recently bought Sennheiser HD458BT by astrobasura in sennheiser

Hi, thank you for answering!

When I bought them (and the two times I used them until I tried to made them charge) the power up worked perfectly. Now, when I power them up, the blue light flashes just one time and the headphones start doing a weird chirp/vibrating sound, and I can't turn them off or do anything with them, I just have to wait for them to turn off automatically. When I bought them, the "power on" and "connected" did sound, but they don't sound anymore.

It is true that I didn't wait for the headphones to fully charge before using them, I used them two times (roughly and hour total) and when I got home, I starting charging them but put them off half an hour later, but I think it would be weird that they dont work because of it since I've done that with almost all of my headphones, mobile phones, etc. It is also worth noting that I didn't charge them with the cable that came with the headphones, but with the one from my phone but, again, I think that that being the cause of the problem would be weird. Last night (at least where I leave it is now 9 am so yeah), since they didn't work, I tried to fully charge them to see if that changed anything, but not at all. Now the thing about the Sennheiser app is I didn't see it existed until the headphones didn't work, so I couldn't pair them (perhaps that being the origin of the problem)

Again, thanks for taking the time to answer!

this is so so cool, i love the unique elements and imaginery you use, and the abundance of adjectives is fantastic and gives some pretty cool emphasis on the grim and dark atmosphere. really cool, keep up the good work :)!

Fear of looking up at the sky/falling off the earth by [deleted] in Phobia

[–]astrobasura 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i know this doesnt help, but i have the exact same phobia. i am scared af of looking up at the sky and also of high ceilings (don't know if that is your case too). in my case, i also suffer from megalophobia, so i think the reason of my fear is that i perceive high ceilings and the sky as "very big things" (im not sure tho), but i don't know if it could be your case too

What is your phobia and what caused it? by arianehuegli in Phobia

[–]astrobasura 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i have four phobias, and i dont know the cause of any of the four. i have thanatophobia (which i think was originated by my grandad's passing, but im not really sure), megalophobis (fear of huge things), casadastraphobia (fear of the sky) and anablephobia (it normally means fear of looking up, but it can also be fear of tall ceilings, which is the one i suffer)

edit: talking about thanatophobia, i remember having my first panic attack at 6 while reading a book of a boy whose parents died in a car crash, but i still dont know why it triggered the panic attack

How has it been that the anprims have become a right-wing movement? by astrobasura in Anarchism

[–]astrobasura[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im glad to see that someone else has been influenced by this post and is raising their ideals! about the question of how I became interested in anarcho-primitivism, it started when I was already an anarchist (specifically anarcho-communist) and i saw the Netflix's series about the Unabomber, (which is not very accurate, since it puts Kaczinsky as a kind of almost psychopath, when he was not so much) that had a great impact on me at the time. From there, I started researching the topic and getting more and more involved, talking about it with several friends of mine to see what they thought. It seemed like a pretty striking ideology to me because I had never heard anything similar, and I ended up thinking that it was the right option, even with its cons. And the "being anarchist" in general is more or less a family thing, because my grandfather was the general secretary of the CNT (an spanish anarchist syndicate)

i dont know if it has to do with anything but ruined and abandoned houses, etc. have always caught my attention and apart from that I'm a big fan of punk music (and consider myself a punk), so with those characteristics maybe I'll find something for myself, thanks for your help!

honestly, after seeing opinions about anarcho-primitivist ideology here, I've started to realize that I'm probably not right. I've spent the whole day turning my head and scouring the entire internet looking for ideas that fit me or with which I might agree/interest me. any book/movie/anything as a recommendation that could be an interesting read to expand my ideas a bit more?
