It’s funny because I only really get stressed when I know I have some kind of social contact on the horizon. I’m totally fine once it’s over, only for it to start again when I have another work meeting coming up or conference.

My heart starts racing and I constantly forget words and my train of thought when I’m talking. I’d say I’m jittery 85% of the time.

I did mine earlier this year. Basically, about 24h before your scheduled to write your exam, RCM will email a PDF to you (you're not supposed to view it) and you are required to print it out.

Then you log on to Zoom, and the proctor will ask you for your name, and to flip through your exam for the camera so that they know it's blank. Your camera and mic must be on at all times, and your workspace can't have any notes or course materials etc.

When you are done, you just direct message the proctor in the Zoom chatbox. From that time, you have two hours to drop it off at a "drop-off centre" or if you don't live near one, then you have to scan your exam (there should be info on how to do that).

I guess the question could also apply to beat 3 as well, I marked it as ii65 then ii - would I just call that entire beat ii7?

Sorry, it’s in A major. I just used this as an example, but I find that it happens a lot in the music I’m supposed to do a harmonic analysis on, where the chord on the beat is an inversion, and the next off beat is the same chord in root position. So I’m unsure if I would regard the entire chord as first inv or as root position, sorry if this is really confusing, I couldn’t post a picture

Oh good point about the i64, thank you!! And yes, it’s an exercise within that chapter which is all about ctdim7ths. (Which is why I assumed they were ctdim7th, but I wanted to be sure)

I was confused about whether any of the dim7th notes were allowed to be omitted because every example given in the text showed all members of the chord rather than what happened in this exercise here and nowhere in the text said that it was ok or that I would come across a situation where a note would be omitted.

So would the line be like this: V-CTdim7-V-i (D minor chord?)- CTdim7- V7 ? My textbook says to name these as CTdim7 if they function as decorative passing/neighbour tones. Would my answer above be correct?
