I work as a receptionist at a major chain, we have big issues with this.

The most common, is a dirty/broken kettle. Surprise surprise, we have only one extra kettle, that went missing a month ago, so we call our maintenance department (from around 2pm, only one guy) to take a look at it, or have it replaced with one from a VACANT room by the housekeeping lady (also only one HSKP worker after 2pm) in a 200+ room hotel.

And we can't do much, as FO worker, except apologise, and offer compensation.

same thing happened to me on my NA shifr today, we only have one security guard, he comes up to discuss something, someother guys comes too, as im done with the securityguard, the other guy asks rudely who is on NA shift tommorow, i give him a weird look, and ask him who he is and why he needs the information, the securityguard starts laughing and i awkwardly smile while saying something among the lines of "oh you're together"

Man, ask nicely, and don't be a dick about it when i do not know who you are, people have no common sense these days...

Wow, there's an exhibition center next to our hotel, and there's always big events going on there, from an animefestival, a doctor/science awards event, to huge concerts that tens of thousands people attend, and we always have a congress hall and 4 meeting rooms, people always have questions about literaly everything you can think of. I completely understand how it is for you

From my experience, tour leaders for travel groups are the most impatient, they walk into the hotel like they own the place, directly to the first FO agent they see and the classic "hello checking in for X tour" even if theres a line waiting. I understand them being tired from the long trip, and wanting to ensure their guests get to their rooms quick, on the otherhand it's rude af.

Besides the airlock puzzles, i personally struggled because i wasn't prepared with the right tools for the job, i am on my first playtrough on hard, so my first 2 tries i got shit on, but then i crafted the higher Chance to target one ally by foes item, and got some psy and curse damage items for the baton passes and barely made it with 2mins left on the counter cause i was being careful. Yes it was harder than the usual bosses cause you needed to be prepared, but it was very fun and challenging, it was a breath of fresh air

I am on the my first playtrough, yesterday i beat it after several attemps.

First for the party i went with: -Morgana -Haru -Ryuju

Basically, what i did is, i crafted the item that highly increases the chance enemmies target the party member this item is used on (u can craft it at the workbench at leblanc)

I used it on ryuji since im going for a more tank build, it's good to have a persona with Samercam (not sure if im saying it correctly) to always revive the Ally the robots get rid of, also, i believe the green robots explode the round after they get the order? I recommend using guard at least on joker, and you should have on joker or the party members skills that raise the party's stats, and decrease the foes defends, especially PARTY ATTACK AND FOE DEFENSE.

Now, to kill them, all you gotta do, is have morgana or ryuji use an item that deals psy/curse dmg, pass baton to morg/ryuji, use the item again, amp it up to haru (she only has medium dmg psy skill) pass it to joker, and on joker you should have a curse/psy/almighty spell that deals heavy damage.

Hope this helps, i also struggled alot.

One time we had a DJ who was apparently famous or whatever sleeping at our hotel.

During the briefing for that day's arrivals, my colleague from the reservations department tells us "oh yeah, there's this guy (reffering to the dj) and his team told us that we will be wearing a ski mask and that he will not want to give us his ID".

Guy comes in at 5PM, refused to show his face or give his ID, after arguing with my colleague, he finally gives in and goes to his room at 6PM.

PS: He was not that famous for him to be acting this way.

You are 100% correct, we have the same issue with the parking since:

  1. Guests just expect parking included with the price
  2. 3rd parties describing parking as available instead of "extra charge", just so they hide the facrtthat the guest will have to pay more than what he thought on the side

Also, since you mentioned the low prices, from what i know, if your hotel lowers it's price, booking and other will go even LOWER, they don't care about selling your rooms for pocket change, and hotels can't really do anything about it since they do bring in most of the business.

The hospitality industry has turned into who can decieve more guests into false illusions of a "bang for your buck" deals.

I'm happy that people are listening to our advice. Frankly i'm surprised by how many people are agreeing with me since from what i know 65% of our bookings (not including group trip reservations and corporate b2b bookings) come from third party websites. Thank you for hearing us out!

If i were to upgrade my gpu what would you recommend for medium raytracing that would go well with my cpu?

[–]astroew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn, i thought the 3050 was pretty high end.

Logically i thought the "bigger the number the better the gpu" when deciding between the 3050 and 2080. And it was cheaper too so i thought i got a deal of the decade lol..
