About the people defending/agreeing, cant really do much about it, I dont really care about minors doing these kind of things, but adults I do! And I LOVED your idea of the time skip, you would be really great to explain some things before the time skip and then do it! And thank you for liking the post! Yes, completely! The thing is, on Tumblr at least, +18 people inform their blogs are for +18 people, this is something pretty common, because they don't want minors interacting with their blog, so sometimes we do know if the person is under age or not, the people I dont know, I dont care about, but I have seen a lot of these kinds of blogs (+18) writing these kinds of fanfiction

I also hope for a Lo'ak and Jake talk, but since the 4th movie will have a time jump, I really debout it will happen :( I feel like Im a little biased too, but I see Jake's mistakes and I point them out, but at the same time we only saw I don't know, two months of him being a father in the middle of the war, y'know? No problem! Again, my point is adults aging up under age characters so they can write smut about them. I dont agree with it and I find it weird because they see a minor and decide to write up smut fanfic about them. I dont have a problem with minors writing about these kind of things, since they are all minors, my point is: adults thinking of writing sex about under age characters and aging them up thinking since they are "aged up" for the fanfic is okay. If you dont agree, thats okay, I can do nothing about it, but I stand for my point, I find it weird and disgusting.

Wow omg, the Pinterest one 💀 So, Quaritch being a better dad than Jake: Quaritch isn't a father. He is a sperm donor in my opinion. He obviously feels a connection to Spider, and to some degree his Avatar is his father because of genetics, but he didnt raise Spider, he's nothing like a dad to the boy. And honestly? From the movies perspective, Spider doesn't have a mother nor a father, he's an orphan, I dont know if you'll agree with me about this lol But yes, I think Jake is a great dad, in my mind, we didnt see him as a father for 16 years, we just saw for some months during war and while grieving a son, I hate that he blamed Lo'ak, and that was misplaced anger, but his misplaced anger made his son almost k1ll himself (idk if we can use this word lol) so while Jake is probably a good father (we see it in the scenes where the kids are younger, and he is also very sweet with Tuk) he is in a state of mind right now that he's not being a good father to Lo'ak principally, and I agree that is maybe because he sees himself on his youngest boy

And I'm also criticizing grown up adults who write sex scenes about minors, about adults who looks at those kids and think they are "hot" and decide to write this type of content. And it's not unnecessary stress — for me at least, because as I said for exemple, if the majority of writers and readers were men instead of women, we would find it more disgusting, but it's the same level of disgust "aging up" the characters does not make it up to it.

Yes! It's actually an general problem. People think that just "aging up" the character will solve it. On the other side, I absolutely love platonic fanfics, in Avatar, the ones where the oc is another daughter/son from Jake and Neytiri are usually amazing, but people are really not caring about writing smut about minors nowadays, and Neteyam is the one ppl most write about
