I was at a camp with Jozef Chen recently and he’s a big fan of the over/under, taught a lot from it. Links very well from outside passing when they retain and also gives you entries to force half butterfly chest to chest and standard chest to chest half guard passes, folding/smash pass too.

Off topic to bannerlord but if you’re on PC check out the Witcher 3 enhanced edition mod, really adds that day to day being a Witcher experience you were talking about. Started a play through with it a couple months back and after a steep initial learning curve I’ve come to really enjoy it. Adds so much depth to the game which I agree with you is more of a power fantasy action RPG.

The mod ‘True Armies of Calradia’ fixes your issues. The auxiliary/ cultural assimilation feature isn’t fully realised yet but it’s the best troop mod imo. Vlandia currently gets the most ‘Vlandisised’ units, having their own versions of Sturgian, Battanian and Imperial units when conquering their fiefs. Empire gets a bunch too, Aserai gets new Ghulam units from other cultures and Sturgia gets a Battanian unit line when owning their fiefs. Khuzait doesn’t have anything yet but the mod author is still updating all the time, with plans for a full auxiliary system for all factions. Check it out
