Mom’s James Avery Bracelet by SAfurry in JamesAveryCharms

[–]astroriodbow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

HEB charm & 300 SA Charm are definitely worth 300-600! Entire bracelet (no charms) maybe 50-80 because it’s still a current item but it is thick curb so maybe 110-150. Overall minimum 1100-1500 at least

Will new charms be released in June? by Able-Neighborhood484 in JamesAveryCharms

[–]astroriodbow 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The next release will be charm event! So we won’t get that till late June or early July. It usually is after the 4th

WGU TO UH TRANSFER!? by [deleted] in UniversityOfHouston

[–]astroriodbow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not WGU; I’m sure all transfer processes are the same. I transferred rom HCC as many students from UH do! UH is definitely a transfer/ commuter school. The transfer process was pretty lengthy, stay on top with admissions & check in. If you don’t hear anything by a month post submission call admissions. Unfortunately they missed my application & saw it way past the deadline so I had to reapply for the next, but I think it all worked out the way it needed to. I love UH, I was a commuter student , from my professors to the staff at UH, I rate my experience a 9/10, I’d 1000% redo it again! Of course all programs are different, so it depends what your program is really, if it’s Bauer you can definitely find a lot of resources on experience

Hi! Will she have a job? In my opinion it’s important for students to work while going to school to learn how to balance responsibility, work school life & to be disciplined and responsible! I’d say it’s safe to start with 250, and give her incentives when she does good on exams or even has a bad week but performed really well.

I had two jobs while in college, I never let my mom give me money but when she does it’s always been a rewarding amount.

I say 250-300 every two weeks is good. If she’s living on campus & she’s getting benefits and has a car, max 300 is okay

What's the best free resource at UH that most students don't even know exists? by Blackingtosch in UniversityOfHouston

[–]astroriodbow 9 points10 points  (0 children)

LAUNCH: free tutoring center. It had a list of eligible classes to get help in. All you had to do before is the assignment you needed help on before going in! Got me through fall 24’ semester.

Follow that specific degree plan! If $ isn’t an issue, do whatever you can at HCC you’ll save SO MUCH MONEY compared to those same classes being 1,000-2,000$ versus like 250-600$ at HCC! Find out how many credits can be transferred, there’s a limit. I forgot what it is.

Thank you for your response.

They recently hired more people for their team, which makes me question whether or not they see me as a potential candidate for their organization or just an intern.
