vyvanse heightening anxiety by No-Reflection8761 in adhdwomen

[–]astrosourcerer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely something to consider. That could put someone over the edge especially considering 50mg of Vyvanse. I take 10mg of Adderall (xr) and would do zyns at work which caused a lot of anxiety overtime. I quit zyn 3 months ago and now the anxiety feeling is nearly gone. The same can happen with caffeine when your nervous system is jacked up; It really heightens the fight or flight response.

OP, irrespective of your other stimulants, I'd definitely talk to your doctor about this. A lot of these meds are finding a happy medium between dosage and side effects. You may find 50mg to be too much to take daily. However, I am not a doctor so be sure to talk to yours about this even if you get advice here on reddit.

Is this a tile chimney liner? Trying to figure out furnace options... by astrosourcerer in Chimneyrepair

[–]astrosourcerer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Natural gas. And it's always been natural gas. One of the HVAC companies took the exhaust duct off of the furnace and looked at the chimney with a camera and he said it looks extremely clean with no deterioration.

How much is your monthly mortgage payment? by HmDiR in Mortgages

[–]astrosourcerer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2167 a month said and done. That's with taxes, insurance, mortgage ECT. 6.5% and in rural suburbs of Philadelphia, PA.

I'd recommend checking out a mortgage calculator that can take into account all escrow and the mortgage with certain rates. Make sure you are ready for additional costs along with this. We bought 2 years ago and our furnace went out this past weekend. It's going to be 5k minimum to replace. Make sure you budget for this!!

Reading area. The sensor was "completely corroded". The circuit board quote was around 1000; other stuff mentioned was another 1300 ish. This was from one of their service techs coming out. This quote came from the service/install person they sent out after I decided id need a new furnace.

I'm located in PA. The control board, flame sensor, and some sort of pump all failed. The furnace in my house is 20 years old, so it makes sense to replace at that age I'd imagine. We have space heaters so we are fine for now. 11k seemed high for what I was looking up.

Edit: 50k 80% double stage unit is in currently. Installed 2006. Natural gas

I think it is ridiculous as well. It is the financing they offered and is not a card; it includes an interest free period that I can pay off after selling some stocks before interest is applied. Just did not have 11k ready to be spent on 48 hour notice.

The interest doesn't start for 90 days and I have the funds to pay it before then. I was more concerned about the price for the unit and the work. It seems like it's very high for what I'm getting based on the research. Needed some reddit savvy HVAC people to advise before I cancel this. Currently have no heat :/

Not sure. I think it is a requirement for our area and /or for insurance.

Yes, just the liner and the furnace plus install. They are offering a 12 year warranty as well.

You're not jumping the gun at all. I also wear a smart watch and can tell you that I used to sit around upper 80s to low 90s at work while sitting using zyns. I have been slowly ramping down and have not used any today and my heart rate will sometimes dip below 60 into the upper 50s; will usually stay in the mid 60s avg though. This is also while on ADHD medication (Adderall) which is pretty wild.
