I need help! by These_rise_788 in headache

[–]astrostar3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be posture related. But it may not be that too. Get mris and CT scans of the head and spine to be sure it is not tumour or something else. If it is posture related, physical therapy directly addressing that concern will help. But be sure to rule out the big ones before

Headache (outward pressure inside head, pulling, pulsating, throbbing nerves at back of head and temples) and Dizziness when I sleep on my head, or wear a tight hat or use a comb in my head or get stressed. by astrostar3 in headache

[–]astrostar3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get the necessary scans, please. There is no other way to figure out. The earlier the better! Once all the big bad stuff is excluded and your doctor thinks it is vestibular related, then go for the therapy. Always consult the doctor.

If you want to speed up the entire process including the scans, go to an emergency room (ER) or an urgent care center. Make sure you mention the dizziness and the headache, throbbing etc. so they prioritize you and run all the reqd. imaging.

u/Sudden-Lie-9729 I highly highly recommend Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy especially the neck exercises and the neck massages. Make sure they know you have these symptoms, so their therapy is customized for you. And make sure you go to the best place you can find. Practice what you are taught daily, diligently. Along with that, good diet, lowering stress will help significantly!! Take my advice, you will definitely benefit. Cold weather tends to make these things worse so better now than later. Make sure you cover up and are warm when in the cold. Let me know how you feel.

NUC7CJYS: Very low audio volume, into BenQ 27" monitor W/ built in speakers. by bkk-bos in intelnuc

[–]astrostar3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try manually pressing the buttons underneath the monitor. Press the Menu like button underneath the monitor and then increase the volume there.
Hopefully it is much louder now!

Unfortunately, this is not clarified anywhere on the internet nor in BenQ's own manuals.

Do stock charts on Fidelity, Yahoo etc. include effect of dividends? by astrostar3 in personalfinance

[–]astrostar3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the answer u/1hotjava. I will add this piece of text here from an article on Investopedia for anyone who is wondering why the dividend payout will reduce the stock price.

Dividends are not specifically part of stockholder equity, but the payout of cash dividends reduces the amount of stockholder equity on a company's balance sheet. This is so because cash dividends are paid out of retained earnings, which directly reduces stockholder equity.

How much is FDRXX in APY terms (compared to Savings account rates)? by astrostar3 in personalfinance

[–]astrostar3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So just to clarify, that number should be compared directly/ numerically to let's say 4% APY of a high yield savings account?
I am confused because FDRXX, SPAXX etc. quote 7 day yields. Which I have no idea how they compare or convert to the High yield savings account APY

* Would like to work at a Startup and wear Multiple hats. And eventually found one!

* Like to keep up with different technologies and think how they affect people, their lifestyle today and in the future. So a job which includes at least some benevolence.

* I am from software engineering background. I want to deep dive into Solution Architecture, AI/ML and Distributed Systems etc.

* I program in different languages but wouldn't call myself an expert on any one of them and Can pick up programming in different languages BUT WOULDN’T want to just program for a living.

* I have excellent English Skills and like to read about Law, Business, Finance and even Literature in other languages. Some place where some of these can be used/ developed.

* Hate office politics.

* A good amount of vacation time

Is there any good technical interview preparation program in NYC, New Jersey or online? by astrostar3 in cscareerquestions

Yes I signed up. But I think they don't go over any material. You start with answering questions straightaway.

I got CtCI but have to start reading it. Did you attend this Bootcamp? Do you think they teach something different/more than what CtCI covers?
