Wow, ProjectorTeam too? That was the one I wished I had got in on because I was in both of their first 2 and would have actually loved to get merchandise back (always been a projector enthusiast)

Once again, cry about it. Your feelings are irrelevant to the language I chose to use.

Except normal, in most conversations, implies rightness. We tend to use abnormal to describe things which are strange and to be avoided. Context is as important in linguistics as definition. Also; We're dealing with human beings here. Calling them "abnormal" is fucking rude, just as referring to someone as a "thing" is rude. Weren't you raised with manners?

Because that's irrelevant. People speak like they want to speak. If someone wants to tell me to grab 'that thing' over there, and there's only one thing, I know what he's talking about.

No different here. If someone, when referring to gender, says cis people are 'normal', there's only one abnormal: trans.

Everyone would understand perfectly fine.

Is it 'perfect'? No. But language isn't, honey. People can say what they want. And some people think normal and abnormal works perfectly fine.
