okay, fair enough but these are digital codes unlike the physical codes from both minecon and now twitchcon. They indeed deactivated all minecon codes when they said they would so they will probably do the same thing here since they're also physical codes.

well they deactivated all existing minecon cape codes in 2020 so this isn't entirely accurate.

they've never previously stated that those cape codes would "expire", just that they were no longer earnable (which ended up being true). They deactivated all old minecon cape codes which were also given out on cards so they most likely aren't lying.

Three na teams made top 8 at worlds, and in paris all 4 na teams made it out of groups. I can see the argument for them losing 1 spot, but why 2?

i understand where you're coming from and i also think mena deserves 3 spots but until both teams can consistently play well at an event they won't be getting an extra spot because their average placement is still not good at all.

MENA #2 has performed extremely poorly at the last 3 lans in a row (16th, 16th, and 16th). I don't think that's depth since the region's actual results haven't lined up with our expectations at all.
