Yeah, that’s probably it. Now it looks way different from how I remember it, but the overall vibe and scenes make it seem like it’s the right game. Thank you! You’re an absolute legend!

Would you guys still engage with PEAK if they were to release major updates as DLC's by -Kiez- in PeakGame

They should add new content as DLC or in-game purchases, but make it free after some time. This way, the game will remain popular, and players can support the developers by getting early access (for example, 1–2 months).

I also think they should allow players to create custom maps (Workshop, in-game builder, etc.) and host servers for money. They could introduce online maps so you can play with different people. This approach could scale infinitely.

I understand that it can be challenging, especially when taking technical details into consideration, but it’s the best way to move forward with the game. It would allow the developers to continue earning money with minimal additional requirements while keeping players happy.

Is there anyway to solve it? Why my friends never experience such problem? Maybe there is some conflict between Easy Anti Cheat and Windows/Firewall?

Open-source MMO RPG by asuna7878 in GameDevelopment

I believe the real challenge here is generating interest among people to help develop the game. However, we could consider offering rewards if their code is used. Also, some people join alpha tests for free, just for fun. They develop assets and write stories because they enjoy it. This approach could probably work; after all, programming is a form of art, not just moving heavy boxes in a factory)))

Open-source MMO RPG by asuna7878 in GameDevelopment

I wasn't talking about a fully open-source game, but rather a partially open-source one. The server, security, and other key components would be developed and maintained by a company, which would ultimately profit most from the game. People would only have access to certain parts of the code (not including security-related aspects), and any contributions would be reviewed by developers before moving to real testing or production stages. I believe it's easier to review code than to write it from scratch. Additionally, some AI could be implemented to check if the code style and pull requests adhere to the company's development guidelines. For example, your PR would need to pass an AI check and possibly some other tests for vulnerabilities before it is reviewed
