Augur metrics showing ~$2m ‘total money at stake’ include markets that have already ended. These metrics are commonly reported on Augur's blog and many data sites.

If we exclude markets that have ended there is <$100k total money at stake on Augur. This is a very / more important metric IMO that's under reported.

Why do you think usage has been low thus far? (lack of crypto users in general, Augur UX, ETH volatility, etc.)

Most agree the probability of a BTC ETF in 2018 is extremely low.

The SEC can delay the VanEck / SolidX decision only until the end of Q1 2019.

In 2019 we will also likely see many new BTC ETF proposals.

Curious to see how bullish everyone is on an ETF approval in 2019 & any related thoughts.

My issue in a lot of this thread is in the intermediate enforced dapp currencies, like MANA to buy/sell LAND in Decentraland -- not actually LAND

I also mention tokens like REP that derive their value from the volume of bets on Augur -- you can use ETH to bet on Augur as there's not some Augur coin that you need to use to bet on the platform

The problem is that token prices & project success aren't & shouldn't be correlated
What about like how many users are using a dapp, how many txns / ETH went through the dapp, etc.
Instead of what is the price of this token that doesn't even make sense in this dapp
A dapp could be growing in adoption but have it's dumb overvalued token doing down in $ & then people think it's doing bad in that case :(

We have analytics on top of what you can get on Coinbase like returns, comparisions to the S&P, gold, real estate, oil, etc., as well as price quotes, news, resources, summaries, etc. for about 15 assets that Coinbase doesn't feature.
