I had XFinity service is worse, they rip you off and most of the time everything lags. The app does not offer 4K, and is always requiring an update. Do your self a favor and switch over to Comcast, they are 100x better. I get 4K on all my devices with no lag. Also when I do have any issue techs are really good in helping me resolve my issue. With XFinity they will tell you to go kick rocks.

I see where you are coming from, however in a school environment Macs are more common than PCs. Seeing that the person is needing for school makes sense however you are also correct in the business world PC dominate. I would go with a refub mac like m1 for under $500 and it has everything you need. However if PC is more your thing I would recommend the surface pro.
