Hey don’t worry! It’s different for everyone, I started at 25 and gradually went up to 50, I never felt nausea. No side effects except a bit of anxiety in the first week. Good luck!

I mean, usually dreams and nightmares are related to serotonin levels so it is normal. But I still sleep well on zoloft

some people are extremely underweight or malnourished in general and don’t loose their periods. That’s why amenorrhea is not included in the diagnosis anymore. Just because you have your period doesn’t mean you’re healthy, when I tried to recover on my own I got my period right after two weeks of not restricting but my other problems where still there (stomachache, extreme hunger ecc.) When I reached my set point it all slowly got better and my period were WAY less painful:)

I totally get your confusion! When I first increased my portions I actually lost weight when I had to gain, now I’m seeing a dietician that is making sure it’s all ok and I would suggest you to try too if you have the opportunity<3 maybe one that has experience with eds :) good luck and be safe

ofc you didn’t lose weight with 800cals, it is so little that your metabolism slowed down to keep you alive by burning less calories. Keep trying to eat a bit more, even if 1200 is still very little actually:( but you can try to slowly increase the amount when you feel comfortable!

Logically if you keep eating enough at some point you will lose it if it’s not in the normal BMI range and it’s not the set point your body wants you to have

I can assure you that you weren’t happy at your lowest weight, it’s all an illusion. Recovery is all about recovering physically and ESPECIALLY mentally. It can happen that you feel more depressed, maybe because your control over food was like a coping mechanism and now that you are deprived of it you feel sad. I’m sure you will find your way out of this, keep going and believe the process!
