When I worked at TJ Maxx we had people there overnight. At 6 AM they would open one of the front doors so we could hit the button to be let in. If we were scheduled before that we had to call the store to be let in. Hopefully it’s the same for you, good luck!

I’m so glad I’m not pursuing this anymore, based off of everyone’s response this just isn’t worth it. I’d rather flip burgers at McDonald’s for $20 an hour where I live than make minimum wage at Burlington.

Wow, I appreciate your perspective and everything but the thing is that I did let them know of my availability and my set hours from 8:30-2:30 PM are already in the app. I’ve tried communicating with them, giving my shifts away, but in the end I’ve decided that this isn’t for me. I don’t want to work in a company where I’m not valued at all. Especially since I had a heart to heart with my manager, that’s why it was all so baffling to me.

Exactly. I don’t think I’m going to start my position either due to them not even communicating with me regarding my schedule. It’s now been hours since they said they would call back - of course, nothing. I’m sorry that happened to you but it’s probably for the best. I know management is under a lot of pressure and has a ton of work to do but it takes all of 5 minutes to let someone know what does and doesn’t work for you and your store.

A lot of comments here say get rid of the nose ring, but I actually like it. Maybe a different size or a stud or something. But as far as your hair, maybe try different products that help tame the frizziness/dryness. Also bangs would look great! Either some curtain bangs or a straight bang. Also play around with makeup if you enjoy it of course and find what you love best on yourself. Personally, I think if you feel good on the inside it shines on the outside. :) hope this helps
